The Kerala Story First Thursday Early Estimates
Mumbai, May 11 - The blockbuster controversial film The Kerala Story completes its first full week at the box office with flying colors, scoring close to 80 crores net collection.
After the excellent first six days, TKS remains in the same line and scored an estimated 11-12 crores net, pushing the total net collection to around 80 crores. It may also finish above 80 crores which remains to see.
The Kerala Story will cross the 100 crore net mark by its second Saturday and will become the fourth Bollywood movie of the year to reach this milestone. For a movie that was made on a low budget, this is an excellent box office return and it is not going to stop anytime soon.
There are a few films releasing this weekend in the form of "IB 71" and "Chatrapathi", among others, but TKS is expected to remain the first choice. Vidyut Jammwal's "IB71" is carrying a decent buzz but it will be interesting to see if could stand up against the TKS wave.
