Triple Threat Match Added To WWE Fastlane 2023, Updated Lineup

Indianapolis, 29 September - Another championship is set to be defended at WWE Fastlane.

IYO SKY will put her WWE Women's Championship on the line in a Triple Threat Match against two of WWE's best and most accomplished Superstars: Charlotte Flair and Asuka.



This match came together during the September 29 episode of WWE SmackDown when Charlotte Flair defeated Bayley in a one-on-one contest. Prior to her match against Bayley, Flair expressed her desire for a title shot against IYO at WWE Fastlane. Following the match, Flair found herself surrounded by Bayley, SKY, and Dakota Kai. Asuka intervened to save Flair.

Asuka, however, had her own statement to make, speaking in Japanese. Bayley translated her message, revealing that Asuka wanted a Triple Threat Match at the event. Surprisingly, this was not what Asuka had actually said, much to The Genius of The Sky's surprise.

WWE later confirmed the match for WWE Fastlane. Below check out the updated card.
