Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna's 'Chhaava' Trailer Date Announced

Mumbai, January 16 - Actor Vicky Kaushal and director Laxman Utekar reunited for the historical action drama Chhaava, based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The actor plays the titular role alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Chhaava is scheduled to hit the big screens on February 14 as one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies. The studio announced on Thursday (January 16) that the much-awaited trailer will be launched on January 22 and also shared a new poster.



"On 16th January 1681, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's Rajyabhishek ceremony marked the beginning of a legendary legacy! 344 years later, we bring his story of unshaken courage and glory to life", Maddock wrote on X. The movie is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
