Vishnu Puran to be re-telecasted from May 14 on DD Bharti

After Ramayan and Sri Krishna (DD National), Mahabharat (DD Bharti) 'Vishnu Puran' is all set to be re-telecasted on Doordarshan's DD Bharti from May 14 at 7:00 PM every day. Doordarshan is already retelecasting some of its famous 80s and 90s show during the lockdown period.

Vishu Puran is a Mythological series on Lord Vishnu and it is based on Vishnu Puran. The show was first aired on Sunday, January 23, 2000, and later it was broadcasted from March 2001 to January 2003 for 78 episodes on Zee TV. However, Vishnu Puran did not become as popular as Mahabharat, but it was loved by audiences.

Since the lockdown has been imposed, Doordarshan is bringing some of its most loved shows and it has brought an unprecedented Television Rating Point (TRP) to the channel. Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan' recently broked all the records of television history when it became the most-watched entertainment show in the world with 77 M (7.7 Crore) viewership on 16th April.
