WWE Backlash 2024 Predicted Match Card
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Damian Priest (c) Vs. Jey Uso
Jey Uso emerged victorious in the main event of the latest WWE Raw, securing a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. CM Punk's timely intervention played a crucial role in Uso's win, making him the official number one contender.
While an official date hasn't been announced, WWE Backlash appears to be a strong possibility for the championship clash. Jey Uso's current momentum and crowd appeal make him a compelling first challenger for the newly crowned champion, Damian Priest.
Women's World Heavyweight Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) Vs. Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan's triumphant return to WWE has seen her firmly placed in the spotlight. However, after missing out on WrestleMania 40, questions arise regarding her next major step.
Her focus since returning has been a self-proclaimed "revenge tour," with Rhea Ripley a central target. The recent backstage attack on Raw fuels speculation for a potential championship clash between the two.
With Morgan's momentum and unfinished business with Ripley, a title shot seems like a logical progression to ensure she remains a prominent figure in the women's division.
Women's Tag Team Championship Match: The Kabuki Warriors (c) Vs. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill
Bianca Belair and the newly arrived Jade Cargill teamed up for a WrestleMania victory alongside Naomi, defeating the dominant Damage CTRL. With speculation swirling about their future direction, the possibility of a tag team title run emerges as a captivating option.
While Naomi could potentially take Belair's spot, propelling Cargill into this role seems like a strategic move. Cargill, undefeated in AEW, carries undeniable momentum that a tag team championship reign could amplify.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) Vs. Gunther Vs. Chad Gable
Chad Gable trained Sami Zayn to dethrone Gunther, but now Zayn holds the Intercontinental Title. Their upcoming Raw match could be a turning point, with Gunther crashing the party to remind everyone who the true king of the workhorse title is. This potential three-way clash has all the ingredients for a classic.
United States Championship Match: Logan Paul (c) Vs. LA Knight
Social media darling LA Knight craves gold, and brash champion Logan Paul holds the key. With WrestleMania glory behind him, Knight sets his sights on the US Title, sparking a clash of charisma and controversy at Backlash.
WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes Vs. Randy Orton
Cody Rhodes' first title defense is a question mark, but Randy Orton looms large. Their past and Orton's potential heel turn offer a venomous rivalry worthy of the WWE Championship.
