WWE Fastlane 2023 Results: Live Coverage, Winners, Commentary, Recap
Indianapolis, 6 October - Here is Sacnilk's live coverage for WWE Fastlane 2023, which takes place this Saturday live on Peacock in the U.S. and on WWE Network everywhere else.
WWE Fastlane 2023 is set to take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. WWE Fastlane streams live on Peacock and WWE Network on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
The event features five matches on the card, including three title matches. First, Seth Rollins defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing Match. John Cena & LA Knight team up to take on Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline.
Additionally, another title will be defended as IYO Sky, Asuka, and Charlotte Flair collide in a Triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship. Furthermore, the Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar) and TBA (with Zelina Vega) will face Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford).
The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) will put the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on the line against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso
The bell rings, and the match begins with Jey and Priest locking up in the center of the ring. Priest manages to back Jey into the corner, but they break apart and return to the middle. Priest takes Jey down with a powerful shoulder tackle. Both wrestlers take a moment to catch their breath. They lock up once again, and Priest sends Jey diving into the turnbuckle. Jey responds with a body shot followed by a solid punch to the chin. Jey Uso tags in Cody, and Rhodes enters the ring, landing a heavy right hand and continuing with a series of offensive moves before tagging in Jey.
Jey attempts a tackle, but Priest counters with a massive shoulder tackle and goes for the cover, but Jey kicks out. Finn Balor is tagged in and delivers some offense. Jey retaliates with a headbutt and tags Cody back in. Cody lifts Finn for a backbreaker and follows it up with a vertical suplex.
Jey re-enters the match, landing an uppercut while Priest delivers a superkick from the apron. Priest plants Jey on the apron, but Finn Balor tags in and goes for a cover, but Jey kicks out. Finn attempts a basement dropkick for another cover, but fails to secure the win. Finn lands an elbow and tags in Priest, who stretches his arms.
Jey rises and runs in for a body shot, but Priest once again takes him down. Priest delivers a cheap shot to Cody, who tries to interfere. Priest follows up with an elbow in the corner and allows Finn to come back in.
Jey attempts to close the gap after landing a big right hand on Finn. Jey takes Finn into the corner and tags Cody. Cody executes a powerslam and goes for a disaster kick, but doesn't get the win. Cody targets Priest with a dragon screw when he tries to interfere. Cody sets up for the Cross Rhodes but misses. Finn hits a dropkick and heads to the top turnbuckle, with Cody quickly joining him to execute a massive superplex. Both men tag in their partners, and Priest and Jey re-enter the match.
Jey lands some punches and follows up with a big uppercut. Jey attempts a Samoan drop but misses. He manages to land a step-up enzuigiri. Jey climbs to the top and executes a crossbody for a cover, but Priest kicks out at two. Priest stuns Jey with a big kick and hits an Elevator Flatliner for another cover, but Jey kicks out. Priest gets ready for his finishing move, but Jey catches him with an elbow and heads to the top rope. Priest tries to counter but misses, and Jey sends him to the floor. Finn is also thrown out, and Jey dives to take them both down.
Cody enters the fray with a Cody Cutter on Finn. Suddenly, Rhea Ripley and Dominik make their way to the ring. Finn executes a Coup de Grâce for the cover, but Cody breaks up the pin. All four superstars start brawling in the middle of the ring. Finn hits a sling blade, Jey delivers a superkick, and Ripley uses the Money in the Bank briefcase to strike Jey. Finn rolls up Jey for a cover, but Jey manages to kick out.
All the superstars continue to fight outside the ring. Priest clears the announce table and gets on top of it. He attempts to catch Cody and orders JD to use the briefcase, but Cody dodges, and the briefcase hits Priest's injured knee. Cody then executes a Cross Rhodes on Priest through the announce table. Jey Uso surprises everyone with a suicide dive and brings Finn back into the ring. They execute a beautifully coordinated teamwork move with a Cody Cutter followed by Cody hitting a Cross Rhodes for the cover, and they secure the victory in the match.

Carlito and Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar) (with Zelina Vega) vs. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)
NThe match kicks off with Santos facing off against Ford. Santos lands a series of shots on Ford, and then he executes a Cross Body from the top rope. He starts preparing for his finishing move, but Ford ends up on the apron and manages to catch Santos. Ford climbs to the top rope, and Santos also joins him. Santos counters with a Hurricanrana for a cover, but Bobby interrupts the referee's count.
Lashley relentlessly attacks Santos, preventing him from making a tag. Bobby executes a Vertical Suplex and tags in Angelo. However, this time Santos catches Angelo with a Dropkick and tags in Rey. Rey removes everyone from the apron and sets up Angelo for the 619, but Angelo moves out of the way, and Bobby takes advantage to attack Rey. Rey finds himself in a vulnerable position in the ring. Ford continues to wear down Rey with stomps in the corner. Ford plants Rey in the corner, and Angelo enters, delivering a solid right hand. Lashley gets in some offense while the referee is occupied with Angelo. Lashley enters the ring, and Rey manages to counter with an elbow. Lashley crashes into the turnbuckle and sends Ford over the top rope. Angelo enters the ring, Rey takes him down and attempts to tag in Santos, but Ford prevents Santos from reaching the apron.
They persist in wearing down Rey Mysterio. Finally, Carlito makes his return and joins LWO (Latino World Order). Carlito clears the ring, and Santos executes a suicide dive through the ropes to take Lashley down. Ford attempts to roll up Carlito, but Carlito kicks out and retaliates with a Backstabber on Ford. He goes for the cover and secures the victory for his team.
WINNER: Carlito and Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar)
Triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair
The bell rings, and IYO wastes no time, going straight for Asuka with a misty surprise and an attempted pin, but no victory just yet. Asuka takes charge while Flair is down outside the ring, setting up a one-on-one showdown for the moment. Asuka executes a slick takedown, and Flair receives some attention on the outside. IYO delivers an elbow and attempts a Moonsault, but lands on her feet instead. IYO rolls up Asuka for a near fall, trying another roll-up, coming incredibly close to a three-count.
Asuka counters with a devastating kick, but as she goes for another move, she gets blindsided by a massive boot from Flair, who makes her return to the action. Flair then dishes out some heavy chops to Asuka while in the corner. IYO attempts to jump on Flair's back, but Flair manages to shake her off. Flair follows up with a Back Suplex on Asuka. Sky joins the fray and plants Flair on the mat. Asuka and IYO team up to launch a coordinated assault on Flair. They attempt to send Flair into the corner, but Flair grabs onto the apron. Asuka delivers a well-placed kick to Flair, while IYO catches Asuka on the apron and heads to the top rope for a Dropkick. SKY also ascends the turnbuckle, but Asuka intervenes, causing her to crash to the mat. Asuka joins in and executes a German Suplex, coming close to a pinfall.
Flair makes a dramatic entrance with a Crossbody, taking both Asuka and IYO down. She follows up with chops on both superstars. Flair attempts a double Vertical Suplex, but it's a tough task. Nevertheless, Flair pulls off a double DDT on both superstars and goes for the cover, but no victory. Flair is eventually knocked off the apron, and Asuka sends IYO into Flair on the outside. Asuka follows up with a sliding knee, dropping Flair. IYO removes Asuka from the apron and delivers a Moonsault on her. Flair then climbs to the top rope and leaps off with a massive Moonsault, hitting both opponents.
Flair returns Asuka to the ring, placing her in the center and heading to the top turnbuckle, but Asuka manages to bring her down. However, Flair counters with a big boot and regains control. Flair ascends the ropes once more, this time with IYO Sky also joining her. Flair hoists IYO onto her shoulders, and Asuka joins in, performing a double Superplex on both of them. Asuka manages a near fall on Flair first, and then on IYO.
Asuka now gears up for another move, locking in an Armbar, but Flair turns it into a Boston Crab. Asuka refuses to give in. Flair switches to a Figure-4 Leglock, while IYO attempts a Minotora submission. Chaos reigns in the ring. Flair surprises Asuka with a Spear, aiming for a pin, but Asuka kicks out just in time. Bayley enters the scene and tosses IYO back into the ring, while Flair employs a big boot to knock IYO off the apron. Asuka takes advantage by performing a knee drop from the top rope on Flair, almost securing the victory.
Flair once again attempts a Figure-8 Leglock, and Bayley tries to interfere by distracting the referee from making the count. Meanwhile, IYO, from the top rope, executes a Moonsault, goes for the cover, and secures the match-winning pinfall.
WINNER: IYO SKY And Still
We see the music hits and it's Pat McAfee, he makes his way to the ring. Pat McAfee is wearing a Colts Legacy Championship. Looking at the crowd, McAfee throws the idea of holding a WrestleMania. Pat brings out John Cena.
John Cena and LA Knight vs. The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa) (with Paul Heyman)
A sense of anticipation fills the arena as Cena and Jimmy kick off this significant matchup, locking up right after the bell rings. Cena opens with a shoulder tackle, and while it's a good start, it doesn't deliver a major impact. They engage in another lockup, Cena repeats the tackle, and he's calling out Solo. After the tag, Solo steps into the ring, and both men share an intense face-off. Cena attempts another tackle, but Solo remains standing tall, absorbing the impact even after taking the hit. Cena tries another tackle, but Solo counters with a massive uppercut.
Jimmy reenters the fray, pummeling Cena with punches. A tag is made, and Solo reenters, positioning Cena on the top rope and launching an attack. Jimmy follows up with a hip toss in the corner, attempting to prevent Cena from making a tag to Knight, successfully breaking up Cena's attempt.
The Bloodline is asserting dominance over John Cena, and he's on the receiving end of a sustained offensive assault. Cena manages to surprise everyone by hoisting Jimmy onto his shoulder, setting up for an Attitude Adjustment. Cena is on the verge of tagging in Knight, but before he can do so, Jimmy tags in Solo, who prevents Cena from making the tag, simultaneously taking Knight off the apron. Cena absorbs a considerable amount of punishment from Solo, who comes close to securing a pinfall.
Cena counters by getting his knees up during a Solo attack, finally managing to make the tag to Knight. Jimmy also enters the ring, but Knight isn't concerned. He slams Jimmy with a powerful Neckbreaker. Solo reenters, but ends up falling victim to a DDT. In the meantime, Jimmy lands a superkick but only manages to secure a near fall.
Jimmy heads to the top rope, executing a Frog Splash, but Knight gets back on his feet and plants him on the mat, unleashing his signature move. Solo reenters, executing a Samoan drop on Knight. Cena, however, takes advantage by performing a Crossbody from the top rope, while Jimmy delivers a Frog Splash from the same position.
Knight is sent over the top ropes, and Cena seizes Solo for an Attitude Adjustment, but Jimmy intervenes with a Superkick. Jimmy positions himself on the top turnbuckle, Knight returns, taking out Solo, and then assists in planting Jimmy with a Superplex. Cena punches Solo, taking him off the apron, and executes The Five Knuckle Shuffle. Meanwhile, Knight employs his finishing move, the Blunt Force Trauma (BFT), for the cover and secures the pinfall victory.
WINNER: LA Knight & John Cena
Last Man Standing match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Seth "Freakin" Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
The match begins with the ringing of the bell, and Rollins attempts a boot, but Nakamura evades and rolls out of the ring. Nakamura returns to the ring, and Rollins retreats. Rollins retrieves a kendo stick from under the ring, but Nakamura dives him into the ring apron. They continue their battle outside, with Rollins executing a German Suplex and then introducing steel steps into the equation, striking Nakamura with them.
After dealing more damage outside, Rollins guides Nakamura back into the ring and throws various weapons—kendo sticks, chairs, trash cans, and tables—into the ring. Rollins steps back into the ring himself. Nakamura gets on the apron and lands a right hand on Rollins. Rollins finds himself on the apron, and Nakamura delivers a knee to his back, sending Rollins back into the ring. Rollins seizes a trash can, but Nakamura strikes Rollins' knee with a Handspring maneuver. Rollins manages to beat the referee's ten-count.
Nakamura rams a trash can into Rollins' face and administers a series of kendo stick shots. Nakamura relentlessly attacks Rollins' injured knee, applying a sleeper hold. Rollins uses the ropes to break free. Rollins counters with a sling blade and takes a kendo stick into his hands. Rollins unleashes a flurry of kendo stick shots on Nakamura until he's had enough. Rollins grabs a trash can and strikes Nakamura with it. Rollins follows up with a suicide dive and returns Nakamura to the ring. Rollins once again employs the kendo stick to deliver more shots. Rollins climbs to the top ropes and executes a Frog Splash.
Rollins resorts to the kendo stick again, but this time Nakamura counters and strikes Rollins with a running knee. Nakamura sets up a table in the corner and positions Rollins, attempting to apply pressure. Nakamura executes a German Suplex and goes for his corner move, but Rollins moves out of the way, causing Nakamura to crash into the table. Rollins immediately capitalizes with a Stomp. Nakamura rolls out, and Rollins clears the announce table, retrieving a ladder from under the ring. Rollins drives the ladder into Nakamura, who is visibly hurt. Nakamura manages to beat the referee's count, and Rollins positions him on the announce table. Rollins climbs the ladder and attempts a double knee drop through the table, but Nakamura escapes. Rollins descends and launches an attack on Nakamura.
They continue their fight in the technical area, with Nakamura delivering a low blow. Nakamura sends Rollins off a platform, and the referee begins the count. Rollins narrowly beats the count. Nakamura grabs a chair and assaults Rollins, targeting his lower back. They move closer to the ringside area, and Nakamura swings the chair again, but this time Rollins ducks, and it hits the ring post. Rollins retaliates with a German Suplex onto the exposed floor. Both men return to the ring, where Rollins hits Nakamura with a Superkick and follows up with a Pedigree. Rollins rolls outside the ring, and Nakamura manages to beat the count.
Nakamura rolls out as well, and Rollins sets up a table near the ringside area, placing Nakamura on it. Rollins climbs the apron and performs a double knee strike through the table. Rollins beats the count once more. Nakamura continues the assault with chair shots. Rollins once again manages to get to his feet. Rollins slams Nakamura into the ring post and eyes the ladder. Rollins climbs the announce table and ascends the ladder, with Nakamura joining him there. Nakamura blinds Rollins with a mist and sends him crashing through the announce table.
Rollins beats the count, shocking Nakamura. Rollins is placed back in the ring, and Nakamura delivers a backbreaker using a chair. Nakamura follows up with a Kinshasa, but Rollins once again beats the count. Both fighters end up in the crowd, where Nakamura unleashes a barrage of punches. Rollins hoists Nakamura onto his shoulders, but Nakamura counters into a Pedigree. Nakamura rises to his feet, only for Rollins to deliver a Stomp.
Both competitors return to their feet, and Rollins catches Nakamura, planting him through a table with another Pedigree. Rollins stands tall, while Nakamura is unable to beat the count, resulting in Rollins winning the match.
WINNER: Seth "Freakin" Rollins
