WWE Recognizes Nick Aldis As The New General Manager Of WWE SmackDown
New York, 13 October - Nick Aldis has officially made his WWE debut and has taken on a unique role.
During the October 13 episode of WWE SmackDown, Triple H made a special appearance and announced that Nick would be stepping in to replace Adam Peace as the new WWE General Manager for SmackDown. Meanwhile, Peace would continue to serve as the WWE General Manager for Raw.
Triple H introduced Nick Aldis live on the show, and Aldis expressed his eagerness to promote healthy competition between Raw and SmackDown. He also disclosed that he had successfully completed the trade involving Jey Uso from WWE Payback, which officially brought Kevin Owens to WWE SmackDown.
Aldis is undoubtedly one of the prominent figures in the professional wrestling world, with a notable stint in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).
Prior to this new role, he had been working behind the scenes at WWE, gaining experience as a producer. Following his departure from IMPACT Wrestling in July, he also took on several independent wrestling engagements.
