Yami Gautam-Starrer 'Article 370' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection
Mumbai, April 19 - Yami Gautam-fronted political thriller Article 370 has completed its box office journey with a worldwide collection of over 100 crores gross, turning out to be a bonafide success.
Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, Article 370 was released on February 23 with favourable critics' reviews and audience word of mouth. It took a good opening of around 6 crores net, followed by the opening week of around 35.50 crores net.
After the good first week, the movie showed a stronghold in the second week with a drop of just 37% for 22.30 crores net and it continued to show the same trend over the next few weeks despite the arrival of new films. The movie managed to go past 75 crores net which is a very good result.
Overseas, Article 370 was decent with around 12.50 crores gross collection, for a worldwide total of around 105 crores. The movie is currently the fifth highest-grossing Bollywood title of the year at the worldwide box office. It scored over 48 lakh footfalls in India which is 4th highest for Bollywood in 2024.
