Yash's 'Toxic' Sets Up A Mega Box Office Clash With 'Love And War'

Mumbai, March 22 - Kannada superstar Yash has locked the festive date for his highly-anticipated gangster action drama Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups release after postponing it from the original April 10, 2026.

Directed by national award-winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, Toxic will hit the worldwide screens on March 19, 2026, in multiple languages. It is a perfect date for the movie with festivals Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Chaitra Navratri all falling on the same day, and Eid-al-Fitr celebrations following on March 20/21.



In Toxic's way of box office storm, there stands Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal-fronted hugely-awaited Love & War which is slated for March 20, 2026, launch. It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is one of the marquee Indian releases of 2026.

Toxic is the first film of superstar Yash since the mega-blockbuster Pan India success, KGF: Chapter 2 which grossed over 1200 crores at the worldwide box office. The upcoming film marks his first collaboration with Geetu Mohandas. Yash has produced it under his banner Monster Mind Creations in association with KVN Productions.

The film is breaking new ground as the first major Indian film conceptualized, written and shot simultaneously in both the Kannada and English languages, which is assumed as a deliberate strategy to woo global audiences while maintaining authentic regional roots.
