Mumbai, May 3 - Superstar Yash has commenced the filming of his first film since the mega-blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 (2022). Titled Toxic, the movie is being directed by National-award winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas and produced by Yash under his banner Monster Mind Creations in association with KVN Productions. ## Toxic is a pan-India movie and the makers are in the process of locking a blockbuster casting from across industries. Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Yash. Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor was supposed to play the role of Yash's sister in the movie but there seem to be some changes. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Kareena Kapoor has opted out from Toxic due to the date issues and the makers are now in advanced talks with lady superstar Nayanthara to play the role. It is said that Nayanthara has shown her interest in doing Toxic and the logistics are being figured out at this point. ## Toxic is a keenly-awaited film that is touted to be a solid content-driven film with mass elements. Apart from Kiara and Nayanthara, the movie will feature strong female characters which will be revealed soon. The movie was officially announced in December last year and the shoot began recently.
