Mumbai, August 18 - India's singing sensation, Arijit Singh has leapfrogged global music stars Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift to become the 3rd most followed artists on Spotify, and is now behind only Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande.## Arijit Singh has 86.3 million followers on the music platform, ahead of Billie Eilish (84.6 million) and Taylor Swift (83.1 million). Ed Sheeran, who is the most followed artist on Spotify, has 114.3 million followers, followed by Ariana Grande with 92.9 million followers.## Singh, who won a national award for the 'Binte Dil' song in "Padmaavat", is the only Indian artist in the top 10 most followed list on Spotify. Neha Kakkar is the second most followed Indian with 42.1 million followers (22nd overall), and overall, 9 Indian artists are in the top 100 list.## Arijit Singh has won 7 awards and 34 nominations in the category Album Of The Year along with 5 awards and 25 nominations in the category Male Vocalist Of The Year as well as 5 awards and 18 nominations in the category Song Of The Year in Mirchi Music Awards.## The latest track by Singh, Chaleya in Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" movie is the talk of the town. Mumbai, August 19 - The 67th Filmfare Awards returns to honor the best films and artists of the Hindi film industry for the year 2021. For 66 years, the Filmfare Awards have been the benchmark for excellence in Indian cinema. The Filmfare 2022 award ceremony of the 67th edition in association with Wolf777 will take place on August 30 at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai. ## The nominations for this year's Filmfare awards were announced on August 18. It currently has 500.41M followers which is the highest in the world on the photo-sharing social media platform. ## Instagram is the only account on the platform to cross 500M followers. Portugal's star footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has the second most number of followers on Instagram with 432.49M followers. ## American model and businesswoman, Kylie Jenner is at number 3 with 331.74M followers while Argentina's star footballer, Lionel Messi, and American singer, actress, Selena Gomez are at number 4 and 5 with 321.69M and 315.01M followers, respectively. ## Indian cricket legend, Virat Kohli is the most followed Asian personality on Instagram with 192.45M followers. He is currently at number 17 on the list. Mumbai, Dec 25 (IANS) Singer Neha Kakkar surprised contestant Sanjana Bhat with a special video of the latter's marriage on singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'. Neha is all set to appear as a special guest along with Rohanpreet Singh. ## Sanjana's melodious rendition of 'Kala Chasma' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' impressed Neha and everyone on the show. ## Neha mentioned how she had heard that Sanjana and her husband couldn't make a video CD of their wedding due to certain reasons back then and hence, she wanted to do something special for them. ## She said: "I know back then we couldn't be a part of your wedding. But you are a part of our family, and we can be part of the wedding now by getting you remarried here on 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'." ## Neha and Rohanpreet also tied Sanjana's 'gathbandhan' with her husband with all the men on set turning into the 'ladkewale', while the women on set became the 'ladkiwale' for the wedding. Mumbai, December 21 - Music video "Dil Ko Karaar Aaya", featuring late actor Sidharth Shukla and Neha Sharma has crossed a milestone of 200 million views on YouTube. The song, sung by Neha Kakkar & Yasser Desai, was uploaded on YouTube on July 30, 2020, on the Desi Music Factory channel. ## "Dil Ko Karaar Aaya" was the first music video of Sidharth to cross 100 million views on YT. The late actor now has two music videos with 200 million views on YT. Earlier, "Shona Shona" by Tony and Neha Kakkar had crossed the milestone. The peppy number also featured Shehnaaz Gill with Sidharth. ## "Dil Ko Karaar Aaya", which currently has 200.15 million views, is composed by Rajat Nagpal while lyrics are penned by Rana Sotal and produced by Anshul Garg of Desi Music Factory. Meanwhile, "Bhula Dunga" by Darshan Raval, featuring Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill, has 121 million views on YouTube. ## Sidharth Shukla was last seen in "Habit" music video, sung by Shreya Ghoshal. The video, which again featured Shehnaaz with the actor, was released on October 20 after the demise of Sidharth.
