Akshay Kumar Starrer Prithviraj Gets A New Release Date

Mumbai, March 2, 2022: Akshay Kumar starrer biggie Prithviraj gets a new release date. The film now will release on 3rd June 2022 in the cinemas. Earlier the makers of Prithviraj announced that the film will release on the 10th June 2022.

Prithviraj who is backing this project has a huge backlog of releases with films like Shamshera, Jayesh Bhai Jordaar, etc. Today Maharashtra government has allowed 100% occupancy in its 14 districts and that could be the reason why makers of Prithviraj preponed the release date.



Prithviraj is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language historical action drama film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput ruler from the Chahamana dynasty.



The film features Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi film debut by playing her role as Sanyogita. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari as other important characters.
