Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj' Trailer Becomes The Most Viewed Bollywood Movie Trailer In 24-Hours

Mumbai, May 10 - The long-awaited historical action drama film, "Prithviraj" starring superstar Akshay Kumar and debutante Manushi Chhillar is getting ready for Pan India release on June 3rd in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the trailer of this hugely anticipated movie was launched on May 9 at a grand event in Yash Raj Films studio in Mumbai. The trailer is packed with action, patriotic moments, and a brilliant background music score.

The response to the trailer has been huge as it has become the most viewed Bollywood movie trailer of all time in the first 24-hours. The trailer of the movie has already scored 43.3 million views with 1 hour still left. However, among the Hindi movie trailers, "Prithviraj" is second most viewed after "KGF Chapter 2".

About This Movie

"Prithviraj" movie is produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films. The film is based on Prithviraj Raso by Chand Bardai, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput king from the Chahamana dynasty.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari as other important characters.
