Box Office: JugJugg Jeeyo First Saturday Early Estimates; Takes A Good Jump

Mumbai, June 25 - JugJugg Jeeyo which recorded a good first-day collection of 9.28 crores witnessed approx 30% growth on the second day. The growth on Saturday is a regular growth for these types of word-of-mouth films. There were expectations of a far bigger growth of around 40-45% but that didn't happen.

The movie is estimated to score approx. 12 crores net box office collections on the first Saturday. The second day of business of the film will take the total collections of the film to a little over 21cr net box office mark which is just a decent number for this film.

Delhi-NCR remains the best performing circuit followed by Mumbai. Even Pune is doing fine but except for these circuits, The collections are lackluster everywhere. The collections in the southern belts are very dull. The collections in the multiplexes are good while the single-screens are very bad but that was expected as the film is not for the single-screen audiences.

The film needs to show a huge jump on Sunday and should register collections between 17-18cr. The film has shown a similar trajectory to a previous big Hindi film Samrat Prithviraj though the plus point of JugJugg Jeeyo is that the film has way lesser cost than that film.
