Box Office: Sarkaru Vaari Paata First Tuesday Early Estimates

Hyderabad, May 17 - Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata is holding well over the weekdays after putting on a great show on the opening weekend.

Directed by Parasuram Petla, SVP scored an estimated Rs. 5-6 crores net on its first Tuesday, seeing a drop of approx 20%. This pushes the total net collection to over Rs. 117 crores, including approx. 82 crores AP/TG share.

The hold of the film isn't as big as it was expected considering a huge weekend but it is still good enough to put a respectable total on board. Until Monday, the movie grossed Rs. 156.7 crores worldwide.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been valued at Rs 120 crores worldwide. It has already scored approx. 100 crores share worldwide including first Tuesday and need another about 20 crores to earn hit status.

The makers, meanwhile, have already started celebrating the success of the movie. On Monday, a Ma Ma Mass Celebrations event was held at STBC College Grounds, Kurnool, which was also attended by Mahesh Babu.
