Box Office: Sarkaru Vaari Paata Second Thursday Early Estimates

Hyderabad, May 19 - Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" clocks a very good opening week at the domestic box office, scoring 122+ crores in the extended week, including an estimated 2.50 crores on the second Thursday (8th day).

"Sarkaru Vaari Paata" started things on a blockbuster note, scoring 47.4 crores net on the first day followed by 104.5 crores 4-days opening weekend.

The Parasuram Petla-directed movie passed the crucial first Monday day by scoring 7.2 crores net. However, the movie later followed a downward trend throughout the week as it scored approx. 18 crores net in the next 4 days after the opening weekend.

The movie, despite dropping over the weekdays, is heading towards a hit status as a worldwide share collection has reached about 110 crores. The AP/TG Share collection, after the opening week, is approx. 86 crores, which is very good.

SVP has grossed approx. 29 crores at the overseas box office, pushing the total worldwide collection to over 170 crores.
