Box Office: Thor 4 First Monday Early Estimates (India)

Mumbai, July 11 - Chris Hemsworth-fronted 4th Thor installment, "Thor: Love and Thunder" witnessed a huge drop on its first Monday at the Indian box office.

The superhero movie, directed by Taika Waititi, scored a brilliant 64.8 crores net in the extended 4-day opening weekend. On Monday, it scored an estimated 5.50 crores net for all languages, dropping approx. 70% from Sunday.

The drop, however, was expected considering Monday being a working day, plus the movie has mixed word of mouth. More importantly, "Thor 4" surpassed "Jokar" (approx. 66 crores) to become the 16th highest-grossing Hollywood movie in India.

The original English version is continuing to drive "Thor 4's" biz in India with another approx. 3.20 crores net on Monday, followed by Hindi with 1.80 crores. The total net of the movie now stands at 70.20 crores net (89cr. gross) in 5 days.
