Box Office: Vikram First Monday Early Estimates; Remains Super Solid

Chennai, June 6 - Tamil blockbuster "Vikram" passes the crucial first Monday test by putting up a super solid hold, dropping approx. 55% from Sunday.

The Kamal Haasan-fronted grossed an excellent 110 crores domestically in the opening weekend. Putting up another solid performance, it scored an estimated 14-15 crores net on Monday, pushing its total net collection to approx. 109 crores.

In the home state, Tamil Nadu, the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie scored another approx. 11 crores gross on Monday, pushing the total gross collection to 78+ crores in the state. The film is on track to become the biggest grosser in Tamil Nadu in 2022.

The first Monday collection of "Vikram" takes domestic cume to over 127 crores in 4 days. At the worldwide box office, it nears the 200 crores mark which will be achieved by tomorrow (5 days). It currently stands at approx. 183 crores through the first Monday (excluding Monday's overseas collection).
