Box Office: Vikrant Rona Opening Day Early Estimates (All Languages)

Bengaluru, July 28 - Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeepa's mystery action-adventure film "Vikrant Rona" takes an excellent start at the domestic box office. The film was one of the most anticipated films of the year.

The Anup Bhandari-directed film, despite releasing on a working day (Thursday) brings audiences to the theaters and scores an estimated 19-20 crores gross for all languages, which is the third biggest opening for a Kannada movie this year.

The movie has done very well in the home state, Karnataka, and grossed an estimated 14.50 crores. It also does fairly well in the Telugu states as it scored approx. 2 crores gross in AP/TG. In Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the film manages to collect approx. 80 lakh gross on the first day.

Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the film performed decently and early estimates suggest approx. 1.50 crores net. The audience's word of mouth is positive which should help the movie to grow over the weekend.

The film witnessed growth as the first day progressed, thanks to the positive reviews. This is a good sign for the film as far as the box office outcome is concerned.
