On the occasion of the 65th birthday of the Megastar, Acharya, the first look poster of his upcoming Telugu movie Acharya has been unveiled.
Acharya is a social drama film which is directed by Koratala Siva. The movie is produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under the banners of Konidela Production Company, and Matinee Entertainments
The film was launched on 8 October 2019 on the occasion of Vijayadasami tentatively titled as #Chiru152. Principal photography began in January 2020. Important portions were shot with Chiranjeevi and others at Ramoji Film City.
The filming was going at a rapid pace until it was suspended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
The film stars Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles while Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan will play a supporting role.
