Gatta Kusthi 2 made its theatrical debut on July 3, 2026, and the opening day numbers suggest a strong start for this sports comedy-drama. In total, the platform saw over 93,000 tickets booked for the first day. This surge in advance interest helped the film navigate a competitive box office landscape, where it is currently facing off against existing holds like Nooru Saami and Con City.
From an analytical perspective, the film has a reported production budget of 27 crore. To recover this cost and reach hit status like the first installment, the movie will need to maintain its momentum throughout the first week. The prequel eventually reached a worldwide gross of 14.58 crore, and the sequel is already well on its way to surpassing those benchmarks given its aggressive release strategy and higher show count.
