KGF: Chapter 2 OTT Platform And Tentative Release Date

Bengaluru, April 14 - The Yash-fronted period action drama film, "KGF: Chapter 2" is out in cinemas and opened to a thunderous response from the critics and audiences alike.

This Prashanth Neel-directed is one of those movies that has a tremendous repeat value, and thus, the audiences are eager to know on which OTT platform it will lend after completing its theatrical run.

Those who have watched the film in theaters would know the official digital partner of "KGF2". For those who don't know, "KGF2" will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run.

Though it is not yet clear when it will release on OTT, we think it will complete a minimum of 8-weeks in theaters, and only after that, it will release on Prime Video. So, from here on, the movie may be released on the streamer in the month of June.

Earlier, there were reports that ZEE5 has acquired the streaming rights of the film, but that is not the case as such reports turn out to be rumors. Prime Video also holds the streaming rights of "KGF: Chapter 1", so it was quite obvious that Chapter 2 will also be grabbed by Prime Video.
