Kannada Movie Yuvarathnaa To Premiere On Amazon Prime 8 Days After Theatrical Release
The makers of the Kannada movie, Yuvarathnaa have taken a surprising move to premiere the film on Amazon Prime Video from April 9 - only 8 days after its theatrical release on April 1st. The decision was taken after the new covid-19 restrictions on theaters in Karnataka were imposed by the state government.
Hombale Films, the producer of Yuvarathnaa, took to social media and issued a statement regarding the OTT premier. The makers announced that the movie will continue to be screened in theatres, but to reach a wider audience, they have taken an early call of making the film available on Prime Video in a record time.
Yuvarathnaa is an action drama film, written and directed by Santhosh Ananddram. It stars Puneeth Rajkumar, and Sayyeshaa in the lead roles while Sonu Gowda, Dhananjay, and Prakash Raj play supporting roles.
In the first 7 days of its theatrical run, Yuvarathnaa did well and earned ₹ 27.92 crores India net while its worldwide collection is ₹ 33.3 crores. The movie received positive reviews from the critics and audience.
