Sachin Tendulkar Tests Positive For Covid-19
Legendary cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, on Saturday (March 27) announced on social media that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus with mild symptoms and has quarantined himself at home following necessary protocols as advised by his doctor.
As a relief, all others at his home including staff members have tested negative. Tendulkar recently participated in the Road Safety World T20 cricket tournament played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur.
India is witnessing the second wave of the coronavirus, especially in Maharashtra state where cases are increasing at a rapid pace. Many film stars have also tested positive in the last couple of weeks.
Keeping the rapid surge of cases in mind, the state government has imposed a night curfew in the entire state from March 28.
We wish a speedy recovery for the master blaster!
