Shahid Kapoor Starrer Jersey To Release On Diwali 2021
The much-awaited Hindi remake of the Telugu movie, Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor is all set to hit theaters on the occasion of Diwali this year. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the sports drama will release on 5 November 2021.
The shooting of Jersey was wrapped up in December last year after the 47-days of shooting schedule amid the covid-19 pandemic. Shahid called it unbelievable and nothing short of a miracle to shoot in these trying times.
Presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Aman Gill, and Dil Raju, the Hindi remake of Jersey also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapur, and Sharad Kelkar in the key roles. Shahid Kapoor will be playing a cricketer portrayed by Nani in the original version which was also helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
