The Kashmir Files First Monday Early Estimates: Beyond Imagination

Mumbai, March 14, 2022: Even in the wildest dream, No one thought that The Kashmir Files will create havoc at the box office.


Sunday collection was thinkable to some extent after great reviews but Monday figures are beyond imagination.

With Monday's advance booking (4.26 cr gross), it was expected that it may earn more than Saturday's collection which is 8.50 Cr.

After getting all Monday data, it is certain that Monday's box office is bigger than Sunday's even with low ticket prices. The Kashmir Files earned 15.10 Cr India net on Sunday.

According to early estimates (with multiplex data), The Kashmir Files is heading towards 18.00 Cr India net. If this film is performing with the same kind of occupancy on single screens then this is the figure, it is scored. If single screens are better than 20 Cr is on the card and if not then 16-17 Cr.

But one thing is sure, Monday is bigger than Sunday for The Kashmir Files.

It is also the biggest Monday at the Indian box office (post-pandemic). Pushpa was 16.70 Cr (all languages India net).

Note: We have more than 3500 shows data for Monday, in which The Kashmir Files earned 12.50 Cr gross. Sunday data was 11.20 Cr gross with 2600 shows. So these early estimates are based on that.
