Valimai Huge Drop On The Second Day

Chennai, Feb 25, 2022: After making big day 1 in Tamil Nadu, Ajith Kumar's Valimai saw a big drop on its second day due to multiple reasons.

The first reason is, the second day is a working day and almost every movie have this kind of thing.

the second one is that multiple big films released today so Valimai lost many screens outside Tamil Nadu and some screens in its own state.

the third reason is that it received mixed reviews. That's why makers are now showing 15 mint cut version in theatres now.

Now let's talk about numbers.

From its first day, Valimai has 30% fewer shows in Tamil Nadu, 80% fewer shows in AP/TG, 55% fewer shows in Karnataka, 45% fewer shows in Kerala.

Overall, it had 38% fewer shows from its first day and occupancy dropped 40% from yesterday. With all this, Valimai earned 14-15 Cr India gross on its second day, according to early estimates while the first day was 37.10 Cr India gross.
