Vicky Kaushal Starrer Sam Manekshaw Biopic Gets Its Title

On Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw's birth anniversary today, the makers of his biopic starring Vicky Kaushal have announced the title of the film. The Meghna Gulzar directorial is titled "Sam Bahadur" and the announcement was done via a video by RSVP Movies on social media.

In a statement, Vicky shared, "I had always heard stories about Sam Bahadur from my parents who hail from Punjab and have seen the 1971 war but when I read the script I was completely blown away. He is a hero and patriot who is still remembered and loved to this day and capturing his spirit in the film is of the highest importance to me".

Vicky's first look as Sam Manekshaw was unveiled in 2019, which made his fans excited as ever. The movie will be produced by Ronnie Screwwala under his banner RSVP Movies.
