Ishaan Khatter To Star In Raja Krishna Menon's War Movie 'Pippa'

Producer Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur have come together to produce a war action movie Pippa that will be directed by the Airlift director Raja Krishna Menon. ## Pippa will be starred by Dhadak actor Ishaan Khatter. The movie is based on the book The Burning Chaffees by Balram Singh Mehta who fought during the Indo-Pak war in 1971. Akshay Kumar Donates To Bihar and Assam CM Relief Funds To Help Them In Floods Situation

While the country is fighting a pandemic like the Corona virus, some states including Assam and Bihar are suffering due to floods situation along with the COVID-19. In this worsening situation, Akshay Kumar who is known for contributing whenever a natural calamity strike has come forward to help the people of Assam and Bihar during floods. ## The actor who is currently busy shooting his next film Bell Bottom in Scotland, has pledged to donate Rs. 1 crore each to Assam and Bihar CM Relief Fund to help them to overcome the current crisis in their respective states. ## According to some reports, Akshay Kumar spoke to the CMs of both the states and lend his financial support. IAF Writes To CBFC Complaining About Movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl For 'Undue Negative Portrayal'

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has written to the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) complaining about the movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl that is scheduled to release today (August 12) on Netflix, for 'undue negative portrayal' of IAF. ## As per a report by ANI, the IAF in its letter to the censor board, and sent to Netflix and Dharma Production, stated as per the initial understanding that, "Dharma Productions had agreed to represent Indian Air Force (IAF) with authenticity and make all efforts to ensure that the film helps to inspire the next generations of IAF officers". ## However, when the trailer of the movie was released recently, IAF observed that "certain scenes and dialogues in the movie and its trailer, which was forwarded to this office for viewing, have been found to portray the IAF in an undue negative light", ANI stated.## The letter further read, "In the aim to glorify the screen character of Gunjan Saxena, Dharma Productions presented some situations that are misleading and portray an inappropriate work culture especially against women in IAF".## Talking about the film, it is a biopic that is based on India's first woman Air Force pilot, Gunjan Saxena who fought during the Kargil war. Director Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming untitled movie featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor will be jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar (Chairman & MD of T-series) and Pragya Kapoor of Guy In The Sky Pictures.## The movie is a love story set in North India. Ayushmann Khurrana will enact the role of an athlete and will be seen in never-seen-before avatar. Vaani Kapoor will be Ayushmann's love story.
