Los Angeles, December 18 - A sequel to DC's 2019 hit, Shazam!, is currently under development, titled, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, for 2023 release. It is one of the most exciting upcoming films within the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), which includes films like The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, scheduled to hit theaters in 2022. ## "Shazam", meanwhile, is considered as one of the best and most beloved films within DCEU, and one of the reasons for that is the last shot of the film, where Billy powers up and joins Freddy for lunch as promised, however, he ends up bringing along a friend, Superman, who wasn't actually Henry Cavill suited up. ## It was earlier reported that the Shazam sequel would feature a trio of villainous sisters as adversaries to the titular hero. Then it was revealed that Helen Mirren will be playing the oldest sister, Hespera daughter of Atlas, along with Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler. Lucy Liu playing Kalypso who is the second daughter of Atlas, while Zegler will be playing the mysterious third daughter.## And now, according to Illuminerdi, Gal Gadot will be making her presence in the highly-anticipated sequel as Wonder Woman. ## Wonder Woman making a cameo appearance in Shazam! Fury Of The Gods makes sense. It looks like Shazam and the Shazam Fam will be taking on three daughters of Atlas, which could have some connection to Shazam possessing the stamina of Atlas. Wonder Woman herself is entwined with the Old Gods being the daughter of Zeus, king of the old gods.## There is a possibility that Gal Gadot's cameo role as Wonder Woman in the Shazam sequel could set up the stage for the third film in the Wonder Woman franchise, which is currently in the scripting stage and likely to go on floors in 2023. ## Shazam: Fury of The Gods is currently set to release in theaters on June 2, 2023.## Stay tuned...

Los Angeles, November 6 - Hollywood actress Gal Gadot rose to new heights after playing the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in DCEU's "Wonder Woman" franchise. Having already played the title role in the first two WW films, the in-demand actress will be returning in the third installment after Warner Bros. greenlit the production of the film. ## Despite being asked to get a go, there hasn't been much development on the film since then. However, during the premiere of "Red Notice" recently, Gadot was asked about the third Wonder Woman and when it will come on the big screen. To which, Gadot answered positively, though she did prevent herself to provide much details. ## "I can't tell you yet (on when the film will release), but we're working on the script", Gadot told Variety and how 'people on the roof' would come down and whisk her away if she shared any specifics.## While the fans of Wonder Woman are excited after knowing that Wonder Woman 3 is in the works, they will have to wait a little longer to watch Gadot in the role of the super-powered Amazonian warrior. Meanwhile, before starting the much-awaited DC film, Gal Gadot and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins will reunite for Cleopatra. ## Gadot, on the other hand, will next be seen in the Netflix film "Red Notice", in which she features alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in the lead roles. Mumbai, November 4 - Warner Bros. has been tight-lipped about giving much information for Robert Pattinson-starrer "The Batman". However, since the superhero film is getting closer to its March 2022 release, the studio is slowly started rolling out some information about the film. ## It all started during the DC FanDome, when Warner Bros. released the new trailer. And now, the studio has released the new official Synopsis of "The Batman" on its website. Though it doesn't offer too specific of insight in regards to the plot of the film, it does seem to paint a picture for Matt Reeves-directed's tone.## "The Batman is an edgy, action-packed thriller that depicts Batman in his early years, struggling to balance rage with righteousness as he investigates a disturbing mystery that has terrorized Gotham. Robert Pattinson delivers a raw, intense portrayal of Batman as a disillusioned, desperate vigilante awakened by the realization that the anger consuming him makes him no better than the ruthless serial killer he's hunting", read the Synopsis. ## "The Batman", which is reportedly one of the cheapest DC films of all-time, also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman alongside Colin Farrell as Penguin, Jeffrey Wright, Barry Koeghan, Andy Serkis, Paul Dano as Riddler, John Torturro, among others. Los Angeles, October 22 - Even though the comic book characters are loved by the audiences on the silver screen, DC Comics' Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie is the most loved by the audiences and critics and it is one of the DC characters that stand apart from rest of the others. ## Margot Robbie has played this iconic character in Suicide Squad in 2016, Birds of Prey in 2020, and most recently in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad in 2021. Having seen the different shades of the character, audiences might be wondering if there will be another film with Harley Quinn in it. ## Robbie said during the promotions of "The Suicide Squad" that she is ready to take on Harley Quinn for future projects, despite there being nothing lined up for her at that time. However, the actress's excitement of playing the character and enjoying it shows that she wants to play Harley more. ## And now, according to reports, Warner Bros. has listened to her and signed her for three more films for the most loved DC character. Mumbai, October 17 - Robert Pattinson-led "The Batman" trailer was launched on Saturday (October 16) during DC Fandom, and believe us, it is going to make audiences go nuts in movie theaters. There was already a lot of hype and expectations from this DC film, and the new trailer only has raised those expectations. ## The new trailer of Matt Reeves-directed "The Batman" shows the glimpse of Zoë Kravitz as new Catwoman and Colin Farrell as Penguin. The trailer also gives a proper look at Gotham City and teases the action sequences. It promises a visually stunning experience for the audience and the darkest cinematic outing yet for the Caped Crusader, even when compared to Christopher Nolan's gritty "Dark Knight" trilogy. ## The trailer begins with the arrest of the Riddler, played by Paul Dano, who is clearly the main antagonist driving "The Batman" story, as a serial killer who leaves cryptic clues with his victims and holds a special fixation on Batman. It also gave a broader look at Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman. Earlier, the Catwoman character was played by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992's "Batman Returns" and Anne Hathaway in 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises". ## "The Batman" movie also marks the return of Penguin, who was last appeared in the "Batman Returns", played by Danny DeVito. Los Angeles, August 9, 2021: Warner Bros. R-rated comic book adaptation, The Suicide Squad, has had a disappointing debut at the domestic box office. The James Gunn directorial collects only $26.5 million from 4,002 North American theatres, $3.5 million short from Warner Bros. prediction of $30 million domestic debut. ## There are many factors that went against the film's strong opening, including the growing concerns of the delta variant of the covid-19, the Warner Bros. film's hybrid release on HBO Max at no extra cost to subscribers, and its R-rating. The makers cost $185 million on film's making, and its low performance will surely make Warner Bros. rethink its simultaneous release strategy. ## At the international box office, 'The Suicide Squad ' added another $45.7 million from 70 overseas territories, bringing its global tally to $72.2 million. The standalone sequel to Suicide Squad (2016), opened with largely positive reviews from critics and audiences but it fell way short to reprise the success of the original movie. ## The original Suicide Squad had a massive $133.7 million opening weekend at the North American box office. Despite those eye-popping numbers, critics and audiences were left unimpressed by the film, though it ended up grossing $746 million worldwide. Of course, that film didn`t open during a deadly pandemic and wasn`t offered simultaneously on HBO Max. ## While it's still unclear how many HBO Max customers watched the film at home—and how many more were enticed to sign up for the streaming service - it is clear that the film's $185 million production budget is going to be tough to turn into the sort of huge moneymaker that comic-book movies were guaranteed to be prior to the pandemic. ## The Suicide Squad stars an ensemble cast including Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Sylvester Stallone, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Peter Capaldi. She also has done sci-fi action films such as the Transformers movie. ## However, the 35-year old actress has her sights set on gaining some superpowers. In a recent interview with InStyle (via People), Fox spoke about her acting ambitions, including potentially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe or playing a character in DC films. ## "I won't lie, I do want to find a Marvel or a DC character that I've always wanted to play, and do one of those", she said. "People hate on you as an actor for that because it doesn't get you the big awards". She went on to say that she doesn't care about winning awards if she gets a chance to play a Marvel or DC character. ## Megan Fox became a mother at the age of 26 in 2012 and according to her, becoming a mother at age 26 gave her newfound purpose in this "horrendous, patriarchal, misogynistic hell that was Hollywood at the time". She recalled people having a "pervasive perception of me as a shallow succubus... for at least the first decade of my career". ## Since then, Fox has stepped back into the acting game, returning to horror movies for the first time since Jennifer's Body (2009) in Till Death, which was released last Friday (July 2). The movie will see Ezra Miller playing The Flash/Barry Allen, in his first-ever solo film from DC Comics. Because of Flashpoint, The Flash is expected to include several major DC heroes. ## Meanwhile, the new set pictures of "The Flash", has revealed the first look at Michael Keaton returning as Bruce Wayne aka Batman in the film. The online pictures also give the first glimpse of Ezra Miller's Barry Allen (not in the Flash costume so far), Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. ## The return of Michael Keaton - the original Batman, is making DC fans go crazy. For years, Keaton's portrayal of the Caped Crusader has stood among the very best. Los Angeles, May 24, 2021: Director Zack Snyder holds a special place in Warner Bros' films, for whom, he has directed movies like Justice League, both the theatrical version he started and his own version that was recently released on HBO Max, Man of Steel, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. ## Snyder has been a big part of studios' attempt to create its own cinematic universe to rival Marvel Studios, which has been the home of Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, and other characters of Marvel Comics. However, despite his close association with DC films, Snyder has also been a fan of Marvel. He's a fan of the studios' Superhero universe, and he's a big fan of two Avengers. ## Zack Snyder recently took part in a video for Wired where he answered some of the interesting questions asked by looking at how Google queries would autocomplete. Among the so many questions, Snyder was also asked whether he even likes Marvel, and surprisingly (not), he said yes and also mentioned two characters that he likes. ## "I do like Marvel. I love Marvel movies and I like Marvel comics. The Hulk has always been one of my favorites forever. And Iron Man", Snyder answered. Those who have followed Marvel movies would dare to disagree with Snyder with his picks of Marvel superheroes. ## There is certainly a rivalry between Marvel and DC, but it has largely been a friendly one so far. Zachery Levi played a character in Thor: The Dark World before going on to play Shazam!. James Gunn directed two Guardians of the Galaxy movies but has also now directed The Suicide Squad which comes out later this year. ## No doubt, there are fans who strictly following either Marvel or DC, but most of the movie lovers have a mutual feeling and excitement for both the comic books, including myself, who has been a big fan of Wonder Woman as well as Captain Marvel!
