From the screeching strings of Psycho to the psychological dread of Hereditary, the horror genre has always found new ways to keep us up at night. But true masterpieces do more than just startle—they linger in the psyche long after the credits roll. Whether you are a devotee of vintage slashers or a seeker of modern supernatural thrills, this curated list explores the Top 10 Horror Movies of All Time. Read on to discover the iconic plots that defined fear and the latest industry buzz keeping these nightmares alive in 2025. 1. Together, they perform a harrowing exorcism to save the child's soul from a demonic entity that pushes their faith to the breaking point. Despite the lukewarm reception of the 2023 sequel The Exorcist: Believer, the original film remains the gold standard for supernatural horror.
