The first part of Hardik Gajjar's mythological epic, Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart, has completed its four-day extended opening weekend. Reimagining the life of Lord Krishna through the perspective of Satyabhama, the film has seen a steady climb in its collections since its release on Thursday. While the starting point was modest, the day-on-day growth suggests that the film is finding its audience, particularly those interested in a fresh take on traditional sagas. If we look at the collection trend, the film started with 0.42 crore on Thursday. However, it witnessed a massive jump of 173.8 percent on Friday, bringing in 1.15 crore. The momentum continued into the weekend, with Saturday recording 2.25 crore and Sunday hitting its peak at 3.50 crore. This upward trajectory indicates that word-of-mouth is gradually helping the film gain traction across the country. In total, the film has earned 7.32 crore net in India over the first four days. Looking at the performance in major national chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, the growth was consistent. On Friday, these chains sold roughly 5,960 tickets in total. This number more than doubled on Saturday, reaching approximately 12,360 tickets. Sunday saw another significant jump, with the chains selling nearly 26,370 tickets. Specifically on Sunday, PVR contributed around 11,970 tickets, followed by INOX with 8,520 and Cinepolis with 5,880. This cumulative total of over 44,000 tickets from the main multiplex chains shows a solid interest from urban audiences.
