War has a good hold on its 8th day at the box office. Even though it looks to drop nearly 50% from its Tuesday collection, it is supposed to be a good hold knowing that it is coming off from the holiday period as it earned 11.90 Cr India net for all languages On Wednesday. ## While most of the main cities show a normal drop, Kolkata was one that looked to maintain well as the occupancy in this region was nearly 45% for the day which was the highest as compared to the other cities. The afternoon and evening occupancy in Kolkata was almost the same with 60%. ## Talking about the other regions, Hyderabad did well with nearly 35% shows were full while Chandigarh has the lowest occupancy among the top cities which was 9% for the day. In other main cities, around 15%-20% shows were full. On its 7th day (Tuesday), War earned whopping 28.90 Cr for all languages with 27.75 Cr from Hindi only.## Due to Dassehra (Vijya Dashami), the occupancy was very good during the afternoon and evening shows while it dropped a little in the night shows. War ends the opening weekend with a bumper Sunday. On its 5th day (Sunday), War performed very well as expected and earned roughly 36 Cr India net for all languages and closes the first weekend with around 160 Cr (not final). It is the highest in the year 2019 after the opening weekend. Currently, Bharat is the highest opening weekend collection movie of this year with 150.10 Cr India net.## Because of the holiday (Sunday), the occupancy was very good as expected and had around 47% for the day. It was very much similar in the afternoon and evening shows with nearly 57%. War witnessed the growth in some of those cities as well where the occupancy was apparently low during the weekdays. Such cities are Bhopal, Lucknow, Surat, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad in which the occupancy was around 45% which is 15%-20% higher than the previous days.## Hyderabad remained solid both for the Hindi and Telugu versions where the occupancy was around 90%.
