On the latest edition of "WWE SmackDown," an intriguing development unfolded, intensifying the anticipation surrounding Jey Uso's pending decision, with the imposing presence of Roman Reigns looming over the situation. It was officially revealed that Reigns will make his long-awaited return next week, marking his first appearance since Jimmy's expulsion from The Bloodline on June 2. Nevertheless, this highly anticipated reunion appears far from harmonious, despite the optimistic narrative woven by Paul Heyman earlier in the evening. The main event of Friday night's program witnessed Jey's ambitious quest for the United States Championship ending in disappointment, as Jimmy inadvertently struck his own brother with a superkick meant for Solo Sikoa. ## Throughout the night, Heyman sought to reassure Jey that Reigns harbored aspirations of mentoring him into becoming the future Tribal Chief, albeit at an opportune moment. And later, in a bold confrontation with Heyman, Jey boldly proclaimed that if he were part of the Bloodline, Heyman would have no place within it. ## Following the climactic main event, Jey left Jimmy alone in the ring, allowing him ample time to contemplate his actions. Still withholding any indication of his true intentions from Heyman or Sikoa, Jey departed with an even wider rift between himself and his brother, exacerbating the tensions that existed at the onset of the evening. As the match between Sami and Jey began, they engaged in a series of lock-ups and clean breaks, displaying their sportsmanship. However, the friendly demeanor was short-lived as Jey pushed Sami after the second lock-up. ## They locked up again, and this time, Jey took control with a side headlock. He followed up with a powerful shoulder tackle, but Sami quickly recovered and delivered an equally forceful tackle of his own. Sami then landed a forearm strike on Jey, followed by a clothesline that sent him tumbling over the top rope and onto the unforgiving floor below.## As Solo Sikoa made his way towards the ring, Sami contemplated a high-risk maneuver, but ultimately decided against it. Despite Solo's leisurely pace, Sami chose not to take any chances and risk injury. Instead, he opted to stay in the ring and maintain his advantage over Jey.## The action resumed as Jey climbed up to the top rope, but Sami was quick to halt his ascent. With both wrestlers perched on the turnbuckles, they began exchanging a flurry of forearms and punches while Solo stood at ringside, watching intently.## Sami suddenly executed an impressive exploder off the turnbuckles, which sent Jey reeling. Sami then followed up with a barrage of punches, but Jey managed to counter with a back heel kick, followed by an uppercut and enzuigiri. Sami attempted to counter with a boot to the face, but Jey was too quick and landed a super kick as Sami came off the turnbuckles, nearly pinning him.## Jey then shoved Sami into the corner, but Sami fought back with a devastating exploder that sent Jey crashing into the turnbuckles. With Jey reeling, Sami set up for his signature Helluva Kick, but Jey managed to dodge it and rolled him up for a near fall.## Undeterred, Sami countered with a Blue Thunder Bomb, almost securing the victory. Sami then climbed up to the top rope, but Jey landed a perfectly timed enzuigiri, causing Sami to lose his balance. Jey attempted a superplex, but Sami managed to block it and instead hit Jey with a series of forearms to the back.## However, Jey had one more trick up his sleeve. He delivered a headbutt that caused Sami to fall onto the top rope, before proceeding to fish hook him. Meanwhile, Solo took advantage of the distraction created by Jey and landed a Samoan Spike on Sami, while the referee was dealing with Jey. Tonight on WWE Raw, Kevin Owens locked horns with The Bloodline's Jey Uso to put on a great show! ## Check out the full match recap below with the winner as well. ## The match starts off...Jimmy, Solo, and Sami are ringside. Jey Uso is in complete control right now. Meanwhile, Jey rolls out of the ring, and so does Owens. Owens bounces back and sends Jey crashing into the ringside barricade. ## Kevin Owens looks at Jimmy and Sami and lands with a Swantom Bomb on Jey Uso. We go back to the commercial break. Kevin Owens with massive DDT for near fall. Owens drags Jey against the turnbuckle and goes up for the Swantom, but Jey has his knees up and it hurts Owens.## Jey with a Neckbreaker to put on more offenses. Sami is directing Jey, and Jey throws Owens hard into the turnbuckle. Owens recovers and comes back on the attack, Owens sends Jey into the turnbuckle and follows up with a Cannonball.## Both men are up and they are going blow after blow. Jey viciously throws Owens into the turnbuckle which turns him out. Jey Uso with a Neck Breaker punches him down. Jey with uppercuts and mocks Owens which lets Owens do his own Forearms.## After putting Jey down, Owens makes it to the top, but Jey joins up two after landing a punch. Jey sets up a Superplex, but Owens has himself tightened up. Owens powers out and Sends Jey crashing into the mat with a Superplex for the cover, but Jey still kicks out.## Kevin Owens once again goes high and comes down with a Frog Splash for near fall. Jey with a Superkick when Owens tries to execute another one. There is a huge appreciation from the crowd. Jey with a huge pop-up Superkick to turn out Owens. Jey gets the cover, but Owens kicks out.## Owens looks for Stunner, but Jey with a Superkick instead for a near fall. This is pure instinct, Both men are killing. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos Vs. The Street Profits (with Special Guest Referee Jeff Jarrett) takes place on July 30, 2022 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. ## At Money in the Bank, The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) defeated The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Following the match, replayed footage of the pinfall showed that Ford's shoulder was off the mat, thus the pinfall should not have been counted. ## A championship rematch was then subsequently scheduled for SummerSlam. On the July 15 episode of SmackDown, WWE official Adam Pearce announced that WWE Hall of Famer and Nashville area native Jeff Jarrett would be the special guest referee for the match. ## WWE SummerSlam 2022 Results: The Usos Vs. The Street Profits Full Match ## Starting off the match are Angelo and Jey Uso, Angelo is taking over the control, and The Usos with a double team hits a splash from the top rope, Jimmy goes for the cover, but doesn't get it. Jimmy tags in and holds a chin lock on Angelo.## Angelo is back on his feet, but no relief from the offense, Jimmy keeps unleasing. Angelo follows up elbows, trying to get off control, Jimmy with a massive right to send him into the turnbuckle. Jimmy with a kick into the turnbuckle.## Jimmy goes for another, but this time Angelo sides up and Jimmy crashes into the turnbuckle, there is tag exchange from both sides, Ford with a massive Crossbody on Jey Uso. Ford with a Neck Breaker followed by a Standing Moonsault.## Ford chops on the chest, Ford rolls on and lands on his feet, Ford with a Blockbuster Neckbreaker from the standing position. Thing turns up for Jey as he sends Ford to the mate with a perfect Neckbreaker. he got the job done, and Jimmy and Jey offense is incoming. Meanwhile, Ford sends them flying over the top ropes and Angelo tags in.## Angelo shoots a Suicide dive, The Usos are back into the ring. A chaos going through, The Usos lands a massive Double Superkick on Ford. Jimmy Usos goes to the top of the turnbuckle and connects with a Frog Splash for the cover, but kicks out at two and half.## Yet again, Jimmy and Jey go up to the top and performs a Frog Splash of their own. The cover is made, but Angelo makes the save. Angelo with Spinbuster, and immediately tags with Ford. Ford from heaven shoots a Frog Splash, the cover is made 1..2..and kicks out. The match is still going on.## The Usos with Double team, land Superkick, Jimmy and Jey with a double super kick to Dawkins. This Friday, The Rated-R Superstar battled “Main Event” Jey Uso one-on-one. Whoever emerges victorious with being named as the Special Enforcer of the Universal Title Match at WWE Fastlane.## Edge out first followed by Jey Uso up next. The bell rang as Edge got the hold on Jey Uso, Edge with a Shoulder to dash down Jey Uso, and then attempted to have a submission, but Jey Uso was able to avoid it.## Edge continued the erasable force on Jey Uso, They both took the fight ringside, Jey Uso was able to send Edge crashing through the steel steps, Jey Uso got rolled back to the ring and followed a Suicide Dive to take down Edge.## Back from the commercial break as Jey Uso was in control taking rough shots, Edge tried to battle back, Jey Uso with an Uppercut, and then did the work in the middle of the ring rope. Jey Uso sent flying out of the ring with a knee to the ribs.## Jey Uso got Edge back into the mid-section, Jey Uso sent Edge with the rib first into the ring post. Jey Uso was relentless, Edge back to fire, but once again Jey Uso with kick and followed up the top rope with a jump, Edge was able to get out of the way and took damage on Jey Uso.## Edge got the control, Edge up to the top rope planted a knee right on Jey Uso's shoulder. As noted, In the SmackDown main event, Daniel Bryan looked to overcome "Main Event" Jey Uso in order to secure a Universal Championship Match against Roman Reigns at WWE Fastlane.## Unfortunately, Uso and Bryan fought to a double count-out in the event match of SmackDown.## On today’s Talking Smack, Bryan joined Kayla Braxton and Paul Heyman and made a deal with Heyman.## Heyman mentioned that Bryan could get a rematch against Jey on Friday’s SmackDown with the same title stipulation. Paul Heyman then made Bryan an offer. Jey Uso is officially up to walk in the 2021 Royal Rumble match.## I was officially announced on tonight's Friday Night SmackDown. Jey Uso has now joined Daniel Bryan, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Otis and, The Miz.## The annual event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 31.## Thirty male Superstars will fight for the opportunity at sports-entertainment immortality when the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble Match streams live on the award-winning WWE Network on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 7 ET/4 PT.## As we know Royal Rumble is produced every January since 1988 by the professional wrestling promotion WWE.
