Hrithik Roshan Drops Major Hint About Doing Magnum Opuses 'Ramayana' And 'Brahmastra Part 2: Dev'

Mumbai, September 27 - Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan's highly-awaited Vikram Vedha, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, is gearing up for its wide release on September 30. After Vikram Vedha, Hrithik will start Siddharth Anand's Fighter while he also has Krrish 4 in the pipeline. ## In other news, it has been speculated that the WAR actor will be headlining Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part 2: Dev along with director Nitesh Tiwari's magnum opus Ramayana. Hrithik has been approached for Ramayana, as per the recent confirmed media reports, and now, he has dropped a major hint regarding the same. ## During the Vikram Vedha press conference held in Mumbai recently, Hrithik was asked about what's next on the work front for him and if he is a part of Brahmastra 2 and Ramayan, Hrithik said, "After Vikram Vedha, I will resume Fighter and then there is potential for the other films you mentioned". ## He clearly hinted that he might take up both the movies. If reports are to be believed, Hrithik is almost certain to headline Ramayana along with Ranbir Kapoor.## It will also be interesting to see how Hrithik manages to do Krrish 4 if he does both Brahmastra 2 and Ramayana. The script for Krrish 4 is almost done and the movie could start rolling out anytime in 2023. Sanjay Leela Bhansali To Bring Both Ranveer Singh And Ranbir Kapoor For 'Baiju Bawra'?

Mumbai, September 27 - Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is putting efforts to bring two highly talented Bollywood stars for his next musical drama Baiju Bawra. ## The maverick filmmaker scored Bollywood's first hit of 2022 in the form of Gangubai Kathiawadi with lady superstar Alia Bhatt, and now, he is working on "Baiju Bawra". The filmmaker has already reportedly roped Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and according to peepingmoon.com, he is keen on bringing Ranbir Kapoor to play the parallel lead. ## "Baiju Bawra" is touted to be a revenge story of a maverick maestro, named Baiju, who challenges the famous maestro Tansen in Mughal Emperor Akbar's court to a musical duel in order to avenge his father's death. While Ranveer is locked, the report says that Bhansali has started talks with Ranbir to play the parallel lead. ## While Ranbir hasn't given his nod for the movie, SLB is hopeful of his casting. It's not yet clear who has been offered which role, but if they come together, "Baiju Bawra" will certainly become the talk of the town. Superstar Aamir Khan Finalizes His Next Film

Mumbai, September 27 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan returned to the big screen after nearly 4 years with Laal Singh Chaddha, which was a remake of the Hollywood classic "Forrest Gump". But LSC also met with the same fate as his last film Thugs of Hindostan at the box office.## It was reported that Aamir will next take up director RS Prasann's film which is a remake of the Spanish film, Campeones. But, the disastrous result of LSC reportedly forced Aamir to ask to pause pre-production work on the film for the time being. However, the latest reports suggest positive development regarding Prasann's sports-comedy-drama film. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, Aamir Khan has made up his mind to do the Hindi adaptation of "Campeones" as his next film and the shoot for the same will start in January 2023. Mumbai, September 26 - The Astras continue to light up the Bollywood box office!## Director Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action adventure Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has crossed the 400 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Bollywood movie since Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War to achieve the milestone. ## The Ranbir Kapoor-fronted film reached the landmark box office figure on its 17th day, after scoring over 6 crores on its 3rd Sunday. With this, the movie has also crossed 250 crores net in India and again becomes the highest-grossing Bollywood movie domestically, outscoring The Kashmir Files. ## The current box office figures of the film stand at Rs. 253 crores net, and approx. Brahmastra Third Sunday Early Estimate

Mumbai, September 25 - Brahmastra is heading towards a very good third Sunday as the early estimates suggest around 6.30 crores collections. There is a good jump compared to yesterday which is a positive sign for the film which also means the film will hold slightly better than expected on the upcoming Monday.## The third Sunday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 253cr net box office mark in all languages. The film has also become the highest-grossing film of the year surpassing The Kashmir Files. After 'Brahmastra', Ticket Prices For 'Chup', And 'Avatar' Reduce To Rs. 100

Mumbai, September 25 - The makers of psychological crime thriller Chup have reduced the ticket prices of the film from Monday (September 26) along with James Cameron's Avatar re-release and R. Madhavan's Dhokha: Round D Corner. ## The aforementioned films will be available to purchase for Rs. 100-110 in most theaters. The makers haven't made the official announcement regarding reducing ticket prices of the film but it seems, the decision came after Brahmastra Part One: Shiva makers confirmed that the film can be watched in just Rs. 100+GST from Monday to Thursday. ## Reducing ticket prices could largely benefit "Chup", "Avatar", and "Brahmastra" as these films have found acceptance among the audience. It has been a long cry within the film industry that movie ticket prices should be kept low so that large audiences can afford them, and the latest development suggests the makers are finally looking for course correction. ## Director R. Balki's "Chup" has scored well in the first two days and earned 5.13 crores net. The opening day witnessed higher footfalls than the second day due to the National Cinema Day, on which ticket prices were made available for just Rs. 75. The reviews and word of mouth are positive for this film. ## On the other hand, the "Avatar" re-release has also scored well in the first two days with approx. 4.50 crores net. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' Post-Theatrical Streaming And Satellite Rights Sold For Whopping Price

Mumbai, September 24 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for his big-budget action entertainer Jawan under the direction of Tamil director Atlee. While it is scheduled to release in June 2023, the movie is already catching the eyeballs of the audience due to its mass appeal. ## Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, "Jawan" is arguably one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies of 2023 and hence, it is already luring digital platforms. In fact, the makers have reportedly locked the post-theatrical streaming and satellite deals of the movie. ## According to Lets Cinema, Zee TV has bagged the satellite rights by Netflix fetched streaming deal of the movie. Mumbai, September 24 - Brahmastra is heading towards a good third Saturday of its box office run as the early estimate collection suggests 5.20cr net.## There was a fear that the film will lose momentum on Saturday as on national cinema day the film had consumed a huge chunk of the audience but that did not happen as the film has shown excellent hold on Saturday. Mumbai, September 24 - The first ever India's National Cinema Day turned out to be a money spinner for director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which scored the biggest ever third Friday of all time in Hindi languages. ## Thanks to the cheap ticket prices which were as low as Rs. 75 on National Cinema Day, "Brahmastra" registered an occupancy of over 85% for the day which helped to score 10.79 crores net for all languages. The original Hindi version alone minted 10.70 crores which is the biggest 3rd Friday collection in Hindi. ## There have been only films in the history to register 10+ crores 3rd Friday collection in Hindi, the other one is director Rajamouli's all-time biggest Hindi grosser Bahubali - The Conclusion, which made 10.05 crores net in 2017. Salman Khan And Ali Abbas Zafar To Team Up For The 4th Time For A Big Scale Action Drama?

Mumbai, September 24 - Director Ali Abbas Zafar recently revealed in an interview that he has a script for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and he would soon approach for the same. Now, according to the latest reports, Salman Khan has liked the idea and has given his verbal nod to the filmmaker. ## The actor-director duo has collaborated on blockbuster films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat while their fourth collaboration is also said to be a big-scale action drama film. Mumbai, September 22 - Brahmastra is heading for another decent day at the box office on the second Thursday of its box office run as the early estimate suggests around 3.10cr net collections.## The second Thursday collections of Brahmastra will take the entire box office collections of the film to over 230cr net mark in all versions. The lifetime business of the film is sure to cross the 250cr mark making it the second Ranbir Kapoor starrer to achieve the milestone. ## The third Friday which is coinciding with National Cinema Day will be very important for Brahmastra as the cost of tickets is kept as cheap as 75Rs which is why the film has recorded an extraordinary advance collection for the third Friday though as a number the collections might not look as huge, footfalls wise it will easily be comparable to the first weekend admits.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, 22 Sep 2022: For the first time ever, the Multiplex Association of India celebrates National Cinema Day on 23rd September 2022 and the response is phenomenal. For Brahmastra, it is coming on the 15th day of its release and still, it sold more than a million tickets already for the 3rd Friday. On National Cinema Day, more than 4000 screens have INR 75 ticket rates. ## Not only Brahmastra but other new releases are also selling a good amount of tickets. Chup has crossed 200K numbers for its first day. Together, Avatar re-release and Sita Ramam (Hindi) also crossed 100K numbers. ## With such a good response for Brahmastra, this movie is expected to break Baahubali 2 record for having the highest Hindi net collection for 3rd Friday of all time which is 10.05 cr as of now. The advance booking for Brahmastra already crosses the 10 Cr Gross collection with its advance booking. ## Brahmastra is not only having 6 AM shows in tier 1 and tier 2 cities but also in some tier 3 cities as well and guess what, these are also in fast-filling mode. Director Ayan Mukerji Reveals A Different Title Was Originally Planned For 'Brahmastra'

Mumbai, September 22 - It has been two weeks since director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva was released in theaters. The movie has been received very well by the audience and now, people are waiting for part two of the movie, titled "Dev". ## After watching the first part, fans are sharing their theories about what can happen in the second or third part and who can play the role of Dev and some other character. To discuss all these things, Ayan set down with one of the top comic book theorists of India i.e. Desi Nerd, super super, bnftv, PJ Explained, and Comic verse.## During their discussion about fans' theories, Ayan revealed that when he started writing the script, he had set the "Dragon" title for the movie. She said that the main character of the movie, Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) has the power of fire and that the Dragon title would suit the movie. ## The filmmaker further revealed that when he started to go deeper into the script, his inspiration started shifting from Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings to more towards Indian history, towards Indian culture. As he progressed through the script, Ayan revealed that Indian history and culture were mostly in him and a title related to our culture will suit more. ## Since Shiva's character is inspired by lord Shiva, Ayan revealed that he understood the beauty and power he stands for and the same happened with the concept of Astras, the concept of Brahmastra.
