Mumbai, November 15 - Superstar Prabhas's much-awaited magnum opus Adipurush has been postponed to June 2023 as the makers are reworking the VFX part of the film. The reason behind the reworking is the heavy trolling "Adipurush" teaser has been receiving ever since it was released last month. ## Meanwhile, despite the over-the-top criticism, the teaser of "Adipurush" is breaking records on the internet, keeping the buzz sky-high for the mega-budgeted film. Mumbai, November 7 - Director Om Raut's magnum opus Adipurush has officially been postponed to June 16, 2023. The Prabhas-fronted epic was supposed to release on January 12, 2023, but after the mixed reception to the teaser, the makers have decided to re-do the VFX in order to give a complete theatrical experience. ## It is said that that re-do of VFX shots will cost approx. 100 crores more and this will take some more time. Mumbai, November 5 - The makers of Prabhas-fronted magnum opus Adipurush released the teaser of the film on October 2 with much enthusiasm only to get criticism from critics and audiences over its poor VFX. ## The makers did manage things by showing the teaser on the big screens and were able to make people change their minds, but other controversies around the characterization of Ramayana's character really pushed the makers back, but again, they somehow managed things by telling people about their vision. ## Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is currently slated for January 12, 2023, release, but as per the recent reports, the makers were left with no choice but to postpone the film to the summer of 2023 as there are a number of big releases on Sankranthi festival and they don't want harm the film's box office potential. ## Now, according to LetsCinema, the real reason for postponing the film was indeed the criticism of VFX shots. Hyderabad, October 31 - The most-awaited sci-fi drama Project K, starring Prabhas is set for further delay. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie is touted to be the biggest Indian film and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a big-screen spectacle. ## A few weeks ago, producer C. Aswani Dutt had said that they are planning to release the film on Diwali 2023 or January 2024, and now, according to Pinkvilla, "Project K" is gearing up for a Summer 2024 release on the occasion of Eid. ## "It's a high-on VFX film, as the entire drama unfolds in the futuristic timeline. The team has created a fictional conflict of World War 3 in the film, and despite being a VFX-heavy team, the core USP of the film lies in the drama and emotions. They will take almost a year for post-production and VFX work and bring the film to the cinema halls in the Summer of 2024", reports Pinkvilla.## Vyjayanthi Movies, which is producing this one-of-its-kind Indian film, will complete 50 years in 2024 and as per reports, the studio taking this opportunity to celebrate its golden jubilee by releasing its most prestigious film. ## "The idea at the moment is to bring the film during the Eid 2024 weekend. The makers are expected to make the official announcement of the postponement of this Om Raut's directorial in the coming days. ## "Adipurush" is currently slated for January 12, 2023, release on the occasion of Sankranthi. Hyderabad, October 15 - After months of wait, superstar Prabhas' film with director Maruthi is finally reportedly kickstarting its shoot on Monday with a puja in a Hyderabad studio. It will be a short schedule with Prabhas. ## According to the latest buzz in Tollywood, Prabhas will surprise his fans by playing a double role.
