Mumbai, June 4, 2021: After ruling audiences hearts, Salman Khan's Inspector character Chulbul Pandey gets an animated avatar in "Dabangg: The Animated Series". But surprisingly, the superstar is not voicing the popular character in the show. ## Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan, who has produced the show, said that it is a completely different show from the movie and they had to make changes accordingly. ## "It's a different show and in a completely new vertical, we had to make a few changes to it. Also, the voiceover artists have done a fabulous job and have done complete justice to the characters. I am sure the viewers won't be disappointed", Arbaaz said. ## "The thought behind creating Chulbul Pandey was to make him a household favorite, and the biggest and most humbling compliment comes from the love this character has received from children. This inspired us to create an animated series based on Dabangg," he added.## Arbaaz further said that the series is an adaptation and reimagination of Dabangg. The action-comedy follows the day-to-day life of police officer Chulbul Pandey, who takes on evils to keep the city safe. Mumbai, June 1, 2021: The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday (May 31), requesting him to allow the resumption of work in the media and entertainment (M&E) industry.## Films and television shooting is currently on hold owing to the second wave of the Covid pandemic as the Maharasthra government has extended lockdown in the state for 15 more days. The FWICE wrote in the letter that the film body sent numerous requests regarding the resumption of work but nothing happened. ## "With reference to the subject matter, we would like to draw your attention to the numerous requests sent to you by the FWICE and the coordination committee regarding our request for resumption of work in the M&E Industry. However, none of our letters have been responded to by your good office and no decision has been taken on our requests", FWICE wrote in the letter signed by Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit, President BN Tiwari, Chief Advisor Sharad Shelar, General Secretary Ashok Dubey, and Treasurer Gangeshwar Shrivastav. ## "Sir, let us apprise you that there are lakhs of artists, workers, and technicians who are jobless for the past one and half years and that the only source of income for them is from the M&E Industry. This industry has been providing work to lakhs of hands and enabling their families to earn their daily bread. However, the lockdown of the Industry has impacted the lives of these daily wage workers who have absolutely no other source of income and are totally dependent on the work of the Industry". ## "The announcement of the extension of the lockdown for another 15 days shall really be a setback for these deprived set of artists, workers and technicians and also the economy of the Industry. Not only the workers but the producers are also affected badly with huge investments already made into the running projects which have been to a standstill due to the unfortunate lockdown". ## "We being the mother body of 32 different crafts of artists, workers, and technicians of the industry have been receiving numerous calls from our members regarding their difficult survival conditions and requesting us to start the work of the Industry", the letter read. ## The FWICE assured the government that all the rules and regulations of the Government shall be followed by each and every crew member and all necessary precautions shall be taken at each work location.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, May 22, 2021: Popular face of Indian television, actor Sidharth Shukla is all set to explore the world of digital medium with ALTBalaji's upcoming web series, "Broken But Beautiful 3". Due to the covid-19 pandemic, digital platforms have seen an exponential rise and many believe that the rise of OTTs could be a big threat for TV. ## Sidharth also has his opinion on the debatable fight between OTT and TV. While the actor agrees that OTT is the new thing now, both the small screen and the digital platform come with their share of challenges, and one which will produce good content, will be accepted. ## "I know the whole world is hooked to the web platforms, and I feel it is the new medium now. The OTT consumption, especially since the last year, has tremendously increased. Mumbai, May 6, 2021: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's hosted Colors TV reality show, "Khatron Ke Khiladi" is all set to go on floors soon in Cape Town, South Africa. Based on the American stunt reality television series, Fear Factor, Season 11 of KKK will be shot amid a strict bio bubble due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## The "Khatron Ke Khiladi 11" team has been working on the final logistics and will fly off to Cape Town in May for a month-long schedule. The contestants and crew will undergo a quarantine period before traveling. former Bigg Boss 14 housemate Eijaz Khan had opted-out of the show midway owing to prior shooting commitments. However, the actor has now expressed disappointment that the makers didn't invite him to re-enter the show. ## "Bigg Boss was a part of my life, but my entire life doesn't revolve around it. Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to enter the house again. I finished my work on February 6 and after that, if I had to enter the house once again, I would have to go through a mandatory quarantine period, and then I would have stayed in the house for a very less period", said Eijaz according to India TV. ## "I think the makers of the show would be in a better position to talk about it. I was a bit disappointed for a few days that I didn't get the opportunity to make re-enter the house. I didn't talk to the media about it but I have to move on because I respect the format of the show", he added.## Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who was a part of Bigg Boss 13 before she exited the show owing to a back injury, entered the Bigg Boss 14 house as Eijaz Khan's proxy. Actor Vivian Dsena, who rose to fame with the supernatural television show Pyaar Kii Yeh Ekk Kahani, is not perturbed by the sudden wave of OTT taking over. He believes that the two mediums are different and cannot be compared.## "Everybody is not an OTT fan, and everybody is not an Indian television fan. The audience is very neatly separated or rather bifurcated", Vivian tells IANS.## The actor who is known for his performances as Abhay in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani, R.K. in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, has reasons to believe that the digital world should not be confused with what television has to offer. ## "The digitalization is in the direction of a digital world so if you compare it with television it would be very different because both the mediums are different. Ex Bigg Boss contestants including Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, Price Narula, Vindu Dara Singh, Karanvir Bohra, and others mourn the demise of Bigg Boss talent manager Pista Dhakad who has died in a road accident yesterday. ## Pista, 24, who was an employee of the reality show's production company Endemol Shine India, had left the set of the ongoing season 14 on Friday after the wrap on an Activa scooter with one of the assistants and their vehicle was hit by a vanity van.
