Mumbai, March 15 (IANS) In the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, all filmmaking and producing bodies have unanimously decided to stop shooting for all kinds of entertainment formats temporarily. ## A notification unanimously issued by the Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association, Federation of Western India Cine Employees and other similar bodies have ordered that shooting for films, TV shows, digital and other kinds of entertainment format will have to remain suspended between March 19 to 31. ## The notification reads: "In view of the epidemic spread of COVID-19 throughout the world including India, an urgent joint meeting of IMPPA- WIPFA-IFTPC-IFTDA-FWICE held on 15-3-2020 unanimously decided to stop shooting of films, TV serials, web series and all other entertainment, including digital formats from 19-3-2020 till 31-3-2020 as a result of health advisory, closure of all cinema halls, all sporting, educational institutes and entertainment events by the Government of India which has declared a medical emergency over the coronavirus. Los Angeles, March 15 (IANS) Comedian-host Ellen DeGeneres says she is "already bored" after her hit TV talk show halted production due to coronavirus concerns. ## Earlier this week, bosses at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" made the decision to tape without live audiences, but on Friday the star announced the decision had been made to suspend production until April, reports aceshowbiz.com. ## Sharing the news on Twitter, DeGeneres wrote: "Hey there. Me again. So, after some more thought, we have decided to suspend production completely until March 30th. We just want to take every precaution to ensure that we do our part to keep everyone healthy." ## She added: "I love you guys, and can't wait to come back. I'm already bored." ## Numerous TV talk shows have either been shut down or will record without a live studio audience due to the outbreak, which has seen more than 145,000 cases of the illness registered, resulting in more than 5,400 deaths since it began in December. ## It was also announced on Friday that Sharon Osbourne's panel show "The Talk" would stop filming, with a statement on Twitter reading: "In light of the current events, @TheTalkCBS has decided to suspend production for now. Mumbai, March 14 (IANS) After being heavily trolled for her comment that seemed like she was defending a girl for cheating in a relationship, actress Neha Dhupia on Saturday took to social media to defend herself. She posted a lengthy statement, declaring she has been misinterpreted. ## The controversy started after a recent episode of the ongoing season of "MTV Roadies Revolution", wherein Neha, who is a gang leader, reprimanded a male contestant for slapping a girl, for allegedly cheating on him with five other boys. She also defended the girl saying as far as cheating goes, "it's her choice". ## Neha's attitude, however, did not find favour with netizens, with many users alleging she was a "fake feminist". ## Responding to the trolls, Neha wrote: "Roadies is a show that I have been a part of for five years and enjoyed every bit of it. It takes me all over India and gives me the opportunity to team up with absolute rock stars from all parts of the country. What I do not like or accept is what is happening for more than two weeks now! Recently during one of the episodes that aired, I took a stand against violence. ## "A guy talked about his partner who cheated on him (allegedly) and in retaliation, he hit her by his own admission. What the girl did is a choice she made which is a moral choice regardless of someone, man or woman... adultery is a moral choice. Cheating is not something I stand for, and it is unfortunate that I have been misrepresented for the same... but what I do stand for is women's safety." ## She also stated how trolls have affected her family members. ## "Sadly, as a reaction to my opinion, I have been subjected to weeks of vitriol.
