Hyderabad, October 15 - Pan-India superstar Prabhas and Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi teamed up for the first time for a period action drama film, tentatively titled Fauji. The movie has been in production for some time, and reportedly, over 50% shoot has been wrapped up. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Fauji's most of filming is expected to be completed in the next two months. Meanwhile, according to the latest Telugu media report, the makers are looking to release the film on August 14, 2026, during the Independence Day weekend. During the recent event, director Hanu Raghavapudi revealed that the first look title of the film will be released this month, most likely on October 23. The release date is also expected to be announced on the same day. Fauji is said to be a period action drama, set against the backdrop of 1940 British India, and is the tale of a warrior who rose from the shadows, emerging from a society that believed war was the only answer to the buried injustices and forgotten truths that history kept hidden from the world. Hyderabad, July 18 - Director Sekhar Kammula's crime drama film Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, was released on June 20 and turned out to be a hit at the worldwide box office with a collection of approximately 138 crores gross. ## Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations, the film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil. The movie is about a beggar, who undergoes a dramatic transformation, exploring themes of greed, ambition, and moral dilemmas faced by the characters leading to a quest for redemption. ## Kuberaa OTT Release ## The post-theatrical streaming rights of Kuberaa were acquired by Amazon Prime Video, and the film began streaming from 18 July in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages, after completing 28 days of theatrical run. ## The short 4-week theatrical window has become the norm for South Indian movies after the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the move potentially costing the makers crores due to a short theatrical stay, almost every South Indian film has adopted this new norm. ## According to the reports, Amazon Prime Video paid 50 crores to acquire the post-theatrical streaming rights of Kuberaa; however, neither the makers nor Prime Video confirmed the price paid for the streaming rights. ## Critics and Audience's Reception For Kuberaa ## Kuberaa has been hailed as one of the best works of Dhanush, along with Nagarjuna and director Sekhar Kammula. Official Theatrical Runtime of SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' Baahubali - The Epic Revealed

Hyderabad, October 7 - In one of its kind experiments, director SS Rajamouli's epic duology, "Baahubali - The Beginning" and "Baahubali - The Conclusion", are set to re-release in a single epic cut on October 31st this year, under the title as Baahubali - The Epic. The official announcement of the film was made earlier in the year on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Baahubali - The Beginning. Since the makers are bringing both films in one cut version, there have been talks about the film's theatrical runtime, as the combined runtime of both films is close to 6 hours. As per the latest update, the film has been censored with a U/A certificate with an approved runtime of 3 hours and 45 minutes. Recently, producer Shobu Yarlagadda confirmed during an interview that the final runtime of the movie would be around 3 hours and 40 minutes. Hyderabad, July 8 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda's much-awaited action thriller Kingdom, directed by "Jersey" fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, has been confirmed to hit the big screens on July 31st, after getting postponed on multiple occasions. ## The release date announcement of "Kingdom" has ended the wait for the fans, but the announcement comes with a twist. The movie was originally announced to be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi (as "Saamraajya"), but in the latest release date announcement, there is no mention of the Hindi version. ## While the clear reason for not releasing the movie in Hindi is not known yet, the reports say that it will be released directly on a streaming platform. Netflix is the streaming partner of the movie, and there was a different deal in place originally. ## However, the multiple delays led to a situation where Netflix asked the makers to release the movie in theatres as soon as possible. After scoring the biggest opening weekend for Dhanush and Nagarjuna, Kubraa is holding very well during the weekdays, and has managed to surpass 100 crores gross as I type this. ## In the first 5 days, through Tuesday, the film grossed an estimated 97 crores worldwide, including approximately 72 crores in India and 25 crores at the overseas box office.
