Hyderabad, February 2 - Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu is teaming up with the master storyteller Trivikram Srinivas for a new film, tentatively titled #SSMB28. ## The duo of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram is coming together after nearly 12 years for their 3rd collaboration. Earlier, they collaborated for Athadu (2005), and Khaleja (2010), which were big hits. "SSMB 28" was announced in May last year and finally, it is set to take flight. ## On Thursday (Feb. 3), the film has been launched in style with a pooja ceremony at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad in the presence of director Trivikram, Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar, and the leading actress of the film, Pooja Hegde. The superstar himself didn't attend the ceremony. ## The clapboard has been sounded by Namrata Shirodkar for the first shot on Pooja Hegde. "SSMB 28" marks Pooja Hegde's second collaboration with Mahesh Babu after their National Award-winning film "Maharshi" (2019). The new movie is to be produced by S Radhakrishna under the production house Haarika & Hassine Creations. ## Several noted actors and popular technicians will be associated with this project for which the announcement will be made in due course. The regular shoot will begin in April this year. Thaman S will score the music for the film.## Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu will next be seen in "Sarkaru Vaari Paata", which is slated for May 13th release this year. The movie, directed by Parasuram and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus, and GMB Entertainment, is currently on floors for the last leg of the shoot. Hyderabad, October 22 - Former Miss India pageant holder, actress Meenakshi Chaudhary has grabbed the gold and reportedly signed in for Mahesh Babu's film with ace filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas.## The actress, who is winning praise for her debut film Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu, is said to be roped in to play the second female lead. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady opposite Mahesh Babu in SSMB28. He had earlier starred alongside Mahesh Babu in Maharshi, which was a big hit. ## Meenakshi Chaudhary, meanwhile, is currently busy in Ravi Teja's upcoming action crime thriller, Khiladi. She is playing one of the female leads in this Ramesh Varma directorial. The movie is currently under the pre-production stage and will reportedly release in December this year. Chaudhary is also shooting for Hit 2 while her Tamil debut film, Kolai The Film is in the post-production stage.## SSMB28, on the other hand, marks the third collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram. The blockbuster duo had earlier worked together in Athadu (2005), and Khaleja (2010). SSMB28 will be produced by S. Radha Krishna (Chinababu) under his banner Haarika & Hassine Creations. ## Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for Sarkaru Vaari Paata' alongside Keerthy Suresh in Spain. After wrapping up his ongoing film, which is scheduled to release on January 13, 2022, he will begin shooting for Trivikram's film, most probably from December this year. ## Stay tuned...

Hyderabad, September 20, 2021: On the second and final day of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2021, some of the best South Indian movies and artists of 2020 were honored in a star-studded ceremony in Hyderabad. ## Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer action drama film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, emerged a big winner at the award nights and bagged almost all the top awards in Telugu. Hyderabad, August 9, 2021: Earlier in May this year, superstar Mahesh Babu announced his collaboration with director Trivikram Srinivas after 11 years. The actor-director duo joined hands for the third time after Athadu (2005), and Khaleja (2010), for their next film, tentatively titled, SSMB28 (Babu's 28th film). ## Now, on August 9 on Mahesh Babu's birthday, the makers announced the cast & crew of the film, wishing SSMB a very happy birthday. As speculated earlier, the Maharshi combo of Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde will be reuniting in SSMB28. Pooja Hegde is a busy bee these days, and now with SSMB28, the actress adds more film to her growing list. ## SSMB will be produced by S. Radha Krishna (Chinababu) under his banner Haarika & Hassine Creations while Smt. Mamatha is the presenter of the film. The music of the film is composed by the brilliant Thaman S, A.S. Prakash is the art director and Madhie will crank the camera. The national award-winning editor Navin Nooli also roped in for SSMB28. PDV Prasad will work as executive producer. The shooting of SSMB28 is expected to begin soon. ## Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for director Parasuram's Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The teaser of the film was released on the actor's birthday today. SVP is scheduled to release on January 13, 2022. Mahesh Babu also has SS Rajamouli's next film after RRR. It is expected to go on floors next year. ## On the other hand, Pooja Hegde has recently completed the shooting of Radhe Shyam, co-starring Prabhas. The actress is also busy shooting for the Tamil movie, Beast, in which, she has been paired opposite Thalapahty Vijay.
