Hyderabad, July 8 - Thalapathy Vijay's sci-fi action thriller The Greatest of All-Time (GOAT) is one of the most anticipated films of the year and the preparations are being made to give it a huge release nationwide.## The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. As the movie is scheduled to be released on September 5, the makers have locked distribution partner to release the movie in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). ## It is revealed that Mythri Movie Makers under its distribution company, Mythri Movie Distributors LLP will release GOAT in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Chennai, July 1 - As Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for the release of The Greatest of All Time, preparations are being made for his 69th film which will be his last movie before he fully centres his focus on his political career. ## There hasn't been made official yet about Thalapathy 69, but as per reliable reports, the movie will be directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is said to be the female lead and it will mark her reunion with Vijay after Kaththi (2014), Theri (2016), and Mersal (2017). ## The shoot of T69 will commence later this year before the 2025 release. Chennai, June 22 - Thalapathy Vijay will next be seen in director Venkat Prabhu's sci-fi action entertainer The Greatest of All Time - GOAT in which the actor will be seen playing a dual role as a father and son, for which the makers have used de-age technology.## On Saturday (June 22), the makers launched a 50-second first-look glimpse which involves an action-packed bike chase sequence where Vijay and his son are chased by a group of goons who start attacking the duo by opening fire at them. ## The last shot involves multiple fast cuts and one of them shows that Vijay is the target of someone. Chennai, May 23 - Thalapathy Vijay's science fiction action drama The Greatest of All Time post-theatrical digital rights reportedly sold to Netflix for a massive sum of 110 crores, according to a report by Only Kollywood. ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT is easily one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year and it is expected to set the box office on fire. Thalapathy Vijay's films have also attracted massive viewership on digital platforms and GOAT is expected to repeat the same despite non-direct OTT release. ## Netflix has been the home of many South Indian films after their theatrical releases and has paid huge prices for the same. Chennai, May 3 - Thalapathy Vijay's sports action drama film Ghilli is having an excellent re-run and has broken into the 30 crores mark at the worldwide box office. It is already one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies of the year. ## The movie has grossed around 24.25 crores in India in 13 days so far. From the second Monday-Thursday (4 days), it minted approximately 4-4.25 crores gross which is an excellent hold. At the overseas box office, the blockbuster has grossed approximately 6.50 crores, pushing the total worldwide collection to around 30.75 crores gross. ## Ghilli will cross Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam's lifetime collection of 33 crores in the coming days to become the 3rd highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 at the worldwide box office. Chennai, April 26 - Thalapathy Vijay's sports action drama Ghilli re-release box office collection has crossed 20 crores gross worldwide in 7 days after the excellent Wednesday in India and overseas. ## On Thursday, the blockbuster film scored an estimated 1.25-1.40 crores gross in India, pushing the total collection to over 14.50 crores in 6 days. The movie opened in the United Kingdom with a sensational 55 lakh which pushed the overseas collection to around 5.25 crores gross. ## Ghilli, after 6 days of its re-release, has earned over 19.75 crores at the worldwide box office and has crossed the 20 crores gross mark with today's collection. Chennai, April 22 - Tamil superstar Rajinikanth has teamed up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the first time for his 171st film which has been titled Coolie. The action drama will be produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. ## The highly-awaited film got its first-look title teaser on April 22. The teaser gives a glimpse into the world of gangsters, set against the backdrop of gold smuggling. It shows a group of gangsters in a warehouse of gold before Rajinikanth takes control of it by thrashing the goons. ## Coolie promises another mass entertainer from Lokesh Kanagaraj while Anirudh Ravichandar's BGM impresses as always. The shoot of the movie commences in June this year for a Pan India 2025 release in multiple languages.
