A Documentary On SS Rajamouli To Premiere In August 2024

Hyderabad, July 6 - A biographical documentary Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli on the maverick Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli is set to be premiered on August 2, 2024, on Netflix.## Presented by Anupama Chopra, the documentary will highlight SS Rajamouli's influence on Indian and international cinema, with interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. Netflix partnered with Applause Entertainment and Film Companion Studios for the same. ## Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli documentary will feature insights on S.S. Mumbai, August 2, 2021: Ever since the online video sharing and social media platform, Youtube has launched, it has become a huge source of income for independent music artists. Launched in 2005 by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim, Youtube is the most visited website worldwide after Google, with over one billion monthly users. ## In India, Youtube wasn't as popular as it was internationally in the earlier days. However, after 2015, the platform started picking pace in India and becomes so popular among youths, be it as consumers or content creators. Now, Indian videos are getting views in billions and are among the most viewed videos worldwide. So far, 29 Indian videos have crossed 1 billion views marks including children's or non-music videos. ## Among the music videos, 11 videos have crossed the 1 billion marks on their official youtube channels. However, it was Dhanush's "Why This Kolaveri Di" from 2012 Tamil psychological thriller film, "3", which tested the first success among the Indian music videos on TY. Released on 16 November 2011, the song instantly became popular on social networking sites for its quirky "Tanglish" (portmanteau word of Tamil and English) lyrics. It became the first Indian music video to reach 100 million mark on YT. Currently, it has over 285 million views. ## If "Why This Kolaveri Di" was first to get 100 million views, it was "Dheere Dheere" by Yo Yo Honey Singh become the first Indian music video to cross 200 million views. The song, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, is nearing 500 million mark on T-Series YT channel. It was released on 2 September 2015. ## Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif featuring "Swag Se Swagat" from Tiger Zinda Hai, became the first Indian music video to cross 500 million views on Youtube. Neha Kakkar: We don't get paid for singing in Bollywood

New Delhi, April 10 (IANS) She has belted out some of the biggest foot-tapping hits including "Garmi", "Aankh marey", "O saki", "Dilbar" and "Kala chashma" among many others, and enjoys as much popularity as any top singer in contemporary Bollywood. Yet, Neha Kakkar tells you, that singers hardly ever get paid in the film industry.## "We don't get paid for singing in Bollywood at all. What happens is they feel that if we give a superhit song, the singer will earn through shows," Neha told IANS.## The 31-year-old added: "I get a good amount from live concerts and everything, but Bollywood doesn't have this scene. Honey Singh: People nowadays get offended too quickly

Mumbai, March 27 (IANS) Pop star-composer Yo Yo Honey Singh says staying away from the industry for two to three years never made him nervous about losing it.## Asked about the fear of someone taking their place, he said: "I don't want to outdo anyone's thought, but staying away from the industry for two-three years never made me nervous or fear of losing it. The time, I was away from 2017 till now, I composed 60 songs."## "And I never felt out of the scene, because people were still grooving to my songs and loving my work. I am in the hearts and DNA of my audience, and no one changes that," he added.## The singer has been vocal about his struggles with bipolar disorder and alcoholism.## "I never let negativity reach me or any other aspect of my life, may it be songs, personal life or health. Talking about my health was a way of keeping my larger family and fans informed on my phase of life. I have written songs on my experience; they are more serious and philosophical. I will release the songs to tell my story to people," he said.## Talking about his journey as a person, the singer said: "Early years of my career, I stretched and exerted myself extensively and I knew it would eventually affect my health. I have changed myself and my routine completely. Akshay (Kumar) sir is a huge inspiration for me. I wake up early, I give myself time to do my tasks and not rush myself into it."## Recollecting his experience touring with Shah Rukh Khan in Australia, Honey Singh said: "We went on an Australia tour with Shah Rukh Khan and there were protests against me performing, saying that I promote alcohol. Shah Rukh sir stepped in and said that if I don't come, then this tour won't happen at all. After the show, we were partying in my room and that's when I wrote the song - ‘Chaar bottle vodka'. We made Shah Rukh listen to the track and he asked what kind of song is this and we said, this is about the 4 bottles of vodka that we finished last night'."## The "Loca" hitmaker feels people now get offended easily.## "I think people nowadays get offended too quickly. As much I support the freedom of expression, I still think that you get judged on every single thing. In the past, we had songs like 'Mehbooba mehbooba', 'Choli ke peeche kya hai', 'Chumma chumma' and more, but they never got discussed of being morally correct or not. As an artist, it becomes difficult to please the audience at large and be creative at the same time."## The singer shared his thoughts in an episode of "By Invite Only", which airs on zoom.## The singer isn't against the current remix trend and said: "I think everyone is original. Mumbai, March 4 (IANS) Pop star-composer Yo Yo Honey Singh, often accused of promoting alcoholism through outrageous lyrics, says alcohol is an important aspect of partying and celebrating and adds that the day the government stops giving license to open wine and liquor shops, he will end reference to alcohol in his songs.## Honey Singh was interacting with the media at the launch of his new song "Loca".
