The 4-day opening weekend admissions in the region reached a staggering 286,990, with the UAE alone accounting for 198,513 admissions and a gross of 2.01M dollars. The GCC and Saudi Arabia added another 0.726M dollars combined, contributing to a total Middle East 4-day gross of 3.03M dollars or roughly 28.11 Cr. This momentum continued into Monday, where early estimates suggest an additional 4.00 Cr from overseas markets, taking the total international gross to 40.90 Cr.
In the North American market, the film is heading toward a super hit status with a steady upward trend through the weekend. After a Friday gross of 88K dollars, the film saw growth on Saturday with 95K dollars, and peaked on Sunday with 116K dollars. This brings the North American cumulative total to 355K dollars. The sheer scale of the global response has pushed the worldwide gross collection to 78.94 Cr within just five days. This performance places Vaazha 2 as the 4th biggest worldwide opening weekend for a Malayalam film, trailing only L2: Empuraan, Aadu 3, and Thudarum.
