83 Trailer: Ranveer Singh As Kapil Dev's Team India Recreate The Glorious Moment Of India's Cricketing History

Mumbai, November 29 - After months of wait, the trailer of Ranveer Singh-led cricket biopic "83" was released on November 30th. Based on India's maiden cricket world cup triumph in 1983, the movie revolves around how the Kapil Dev-led Team India pulled off the unthinkable on the iconic Lord's cricket ground. ## The trailer takes us through the iconic moment which led to the foundation of the glorious cricketing history of India, which has now become a world-beater. Directed by Kabir Khan, "83" trailer gives an inside story of Team India's struggle to reach, first to the tournament, and then to beat the mighty West Indies side, which was considered invincible at that time, to script the history and put their names on the honors board. ## Produced by Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films, Vibri Media, KA Productions, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, and Kabir Khan Films, "83" is one of the most anticipated films, which will be released on December 24 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Ranveer Singh-Starrer '83' To Have Its World Premiere At Saudi Arabia's Red Sea Fest

Mumbai, November 29 - Ranveer Singh-fronted the upcoming cricket biopic, "83" will have its world premiere at the Saudi Arabia's Red Sea International Film Festival (6-15 December). It will be the closing film of the festival on Dec. 15, where Deepika Padukone, Kapil Dev, and director Kabir Khan will be presented. ## Based on India's first world cup win in the 1983 ODI world cup, "83" will feature Ranveer Singh as the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who led the Indian side to glory. Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Antim' Jumps On Sunday To Finish The Opening Weekend On A Decent Note

Mumbai, November 28 - Superstar Salman Khan's extended screen presence in "Antim: The Final Truth" has helped the film to end the opening weekend on a decent note at the box office. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, "Antim" opened over this weekend on Friday (November 26). ## With Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makawana in the lead roles, the movie netted ₹ 5.03 cr on Friday (slightly lower than expected). The strong word of mouth and positive critics reviews came to the party as the movie jumped by 19.88% (₹ 6.03) on Saturday and then by 25.21% on Sunday for ₹ 7.55 crores, for a 3-day total of ₹ 18.61 crores.## While the producers won't be too disappointed with the box office outcome of "Antim" so far, it was, however, expected to do much more than it actually did. The family audience is still hesitating to visit theaters despite the positive trend towards cinema-going. ## Meanwhile, on the other hand, John Abraham-starrer "Satyameva Jayate 2", which was released a day earlier on November 25, performed low over the opening weekend for an estimated 4-day total of ₹ 10.45 Cr. Despite seeing a slight jump on Sunday, the sequel to 2018's film fell well short of what the producers had expected from it at the box office. ## Yash Raj Films' "Bunty Aur Babli 2", is another film that didn't find its audience and was rejected at the box office. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Sharvari Wagh, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the sequel to 2005's hit film, netted just ₹ 11.9 crores in the opening week in India, starting from November 19. The news regarding its sequel has been making noise for many years now, going by the latest reports, it looks like that the good news about the sequel is around the corner. According to Bollywood Hungama, the sequel is titled "No Entry Mein Entry", and it will feature the original male trio in triple roles.## A source informed the portal that Bazmee is done with the scripting. Box Office: Sooryavanshi Emerges Akshay Kumar's Highest 3rd Week Grosser; Nears Rs. 300 Crores Worldwide

Mumbai, November 25 - Akshay Kumar-starrer "Sooryavanshi" make the best use of the first three weeks at the box office and emerged as Bollywood's first box office super hit during the covid-19 pandemic era. With not much competition, the Rohit Shetty-directed netted Rs. 184.78 crores or Rs. 218 crore gross after earning an estimated Rs. 1.05 crores on 3rd Thursday. ## "Sooryavanshi", with Rs. 18.55 crore net in the 3rd week, also becomes the highest 3rd-week earner for Akshay Kumar, overtaking "Rowdy Rathore", which had earned Rs. 14.16 crores. It has also earned more than "Sultan" (Rs. 15.84 cr.), "Golmaal Again" (Rs. 15.02 cr.), and "Kick" (Rs. 14.01 cr.) in the 3rd week. ## Released over Diwali weekend, "Sooryavanshi" has entered the list of the top 30 highest-earning Bollywood films of all time, and is likely to finish at 27th, ahead of "2.0" (Rs. 190.48 cr.) by the end of its entire box office run. Mumbai, November 25 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently postponed the release date of his long-awaited comedy-drama film, "Laal Singh Chaddha" to April 14, 2022. The actor took this decision to give enough time to post-production work as he doesn't want to rush his work. ## "Laal Singh Chaddha" is a big-budget film and the makers don't want to compromise on quality. The postponement of the film, however, has confirmed a big box office clash with Yash-starrer "KGF: Chapter 2", which opens on the same date. KGF 2 is a pan India film and carries an unpreceded hype in every language. ## Aamir Kha, however, explained why he chooses April 14 release date for his film and also expressed his regret for clashing with KGF 2. "There are two ways of doing the visual effects — you can do a rush job or you can go for quality work. I didn’t want a rush job, hence I preferred to postpone the film". Salman confirmed that he indeed had plans to open up theatres and hopefully, it will be sometime soon, according to News18. ## "We were planning it but everything was put on hold. Slowly we will get back to it, but definitely someday. We had planned to open them up in smaller towns where people didn’t have access to theatres. Not here in cities like Mumbai", Salman told TOI. ## According to a 2018 report by Mumbai Mirror (via News18), Salman Talkies was going to be a chain of theatres where tickets would be tax-free and available at subsidized rates and free for children from underprivileged backgrounds.
