Akshay Kumar's Much-Awaited 'OMG 2' Locks Independence Day 2023 Weekend Release
Mumbai, June 9 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's much-awaited social drama film OMG 2 has locked Independence Day 2023 weekend release, which means Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" might get postponed to a new date as per the reports.## Directed by Amit Rai, "OMG 2" will be hitting worldwide theaters on August 11, Friday, and will have a long Independence Day weekend to make an impact at the box office. The movie is a spiritual sequel to Akshay's "OMG – Oh My God!" (2012) which was a big success. ## "OMG 2" revolves around sex education in India and Akshay will be playing the role of Lord Shiva. In the first film, he played Lord Krishna. The upcoming movie will feature Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam as the main lead role along with Akshay. ## Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to announce the release date with a new poster. ## आ रहे हैं हम,आइयेगा आप भी.11th August. The movie will clash with Sunny Deol's "Gadar 2" which is also scheduled to release on August 11.
