Yash Raj Films Confirms Upcoming Films In The Spy Universe

Mumbai, April 4 - Yash Raj Films is building its Spy Universe featuring some of the biggest stars of Bollywood. It all started with Salman Khan-fronted Ek Tha Tiger (2012) before he reprised his role in the sequel Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Both movies were huge blockbusters which fueled YRF to take the franchise to another level. ## In 2019, the studio released the third film in the Spy Universe, War-fronted by Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. It continued the blockbuster run before Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Pathaan (2023) took the Spy Universe to next level and turned out to be the biggest blockbuster. ## Pathaan was the first film in this blockbuster series in which characters from previous films were introduced. While there was a reference to Hrithik's Kabir in the film, Salman Khan played a vital cameo as Tiger. The third installment of Tiger is already in the making and is scheduled to release on Diwali 2023. ## Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 will have SRK's cameo as Pathaan, and the events of this film will set up the stage for Hrithik Roshan's War 2 which will be the next film in the Spy Universe, YRF has confirmed (via Taran Adarsh). It will be directed by Ayan Mukerji and this will be his first directorial in the Spy Universe.## War 2 will likely have Salman and SRK's cameos as Tiger and Pathaan. It will start filming later this year and be released in 2024. After War 2, YRF will start the biggest movie of the Spy Universe and possibly the biggest in Indian cinema, Tiger Vs Pathaan which might be the swan song of one of the actors in the Spy series. ## There is no director named yet for this mega movie which will pitch Salman's Tiger and SRK's Pathaan against each other. It will start rolling next year and be released in 2025 on a grand scale worldwide. As of now, these aforementioned films confirmed in the Spy Universe but there are talks happening about the spin-off film of John Abraham's Jim, an ex-RAW agent and the main antagonist of Pathaan. Hrithik Roshan's Spy Actioner 'War 2' To Be Directed By Ayan Mukerji

Mumbai, April 4 - Blockbuster director Ayan Mukerji delighted movie buffs this morning by announcing the official development of the ambitious Brahmastra trilogy which would be released in 2026 and 2027. He took to social media to confirm the same. ## While confirming the next two installments of the Brahmastra trilogy, the filmmaker also revealed in the note shared by him that he would be directing another film before stepping into the world of Brahmastra. Ayan Mukerji Reveals Release Dates of Brahmastra Part 2 and 3

Mumbai, April 3 - Bholaa is heading for a good hold on the first Monday as the collection indicates 5 crores net, as per early estimates. The drop from Friday is around 35% which is on the expected lines.## The first Monday collections will take the total collections of the film to near the 50cr net and not many films have crossed this number post-pandemic. Box Office: Bholaa First Sunday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 2 - Bholaa witnessed its biggest day at the box office thanks to the holiday on Sunday as the early estimate collections suggest a 13.50-14.50 crores net box office mark. The collection is good for the type of film Bholaa which is devoid of commercial elements like Music, comedy, and fun moments. The film is an action film but in a very dark zone which the family audience does not prefer. The collections are also coming during the time of Ramzan which affects the business. ## The growth of the film came majorly in the single screens while multiplexes remained flat which was expected as metro cities do not see growth on Sunday, especially for a desi mass action film. The film has comfortably beaten yesterday's collections though it could have added one crore more to its collections. ## The first Sunday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 44.25cr which is a good number but considering the first day was a partial holiday and then a national holiday on Sunday the film should have crossed the 50 crores net mark. Mumbai, April 1 - Bholaa which had a decent first two days fired well today at the box office with strong growth across all the circuits. The growth also looks big due to the second day being lower than expected but still, it's a good achievement for the film to show big growth like this on Saturday despite the film not being multiplex-friendly. ## The early estimate collections suggest 12 crores net on its first Saturday. The final collections could vary a little. This is the biggest day at the box office for Bholaa as it's comfortably beaten its opening day and it will be a huge plus if the numbers of tomorrow beat today's numbers. The first Saturday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 30.50cr net. Directed by Amit Sharma, the film is based on the golden era of Indian football (1952–1962). Mumbai, April 1 - Director Ayan Mukerji's ambitious project Brahmastra had its theatrical debut last year with the first part Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt among others in the key roles. ## After the successful outing of the first of the Brahmastra trilogy, the filmmaker is now working on the next two chapters in the fantasy adventure franchise. Box Office: Bholaa First Friday Early Estimates

Mumbai, March 31 - Bholaa which had a decent opening day of 11.20 crores net has shown a drop of around 35% on its second day. The drop was expected as the first day was helped by the partial holiday of Ram Navami and films do drop after partial holidays or national holidays especially when the next day is a working day but here the drop is more than expected especially considering the first day was not a big day at the box office. ## The early estimate collections suggest 7+ crores net on the first Friday. This will take the first two days of collections to around the 18.20cr net box office mark. Tomorrow is Saturday and the film should show a growth of around 20-25% or even more to come at the first-day levels. The combined business of Saturday and Sunday should be around the 30cr net mark for any chance of survival at the box office. ## Single screens continue to draw a big audience, especially in the mass circuits of UP and Bihar, also this is where Ajay Devgn has the biggest popularity. Bholaa Opening Day Early Estimates; Starts With Double Digit Collection

Mumbai, 30th March 2023: The big release of the day Bholaa starring Ajay Devgn in the titular role has been released at the box office. The film has been released on Thursday to take the Advantage of Ram Navami holiday which is huge in the northern circuits and Bholaa as a film caters more to those northern circuits due to the action factor so it was a good decision to come on Thursday. ## Bholaa took a decent opening In the morning shows in terms of occupancies but multiplexes started on a poor note which was expected due to the action film and also Bholaa tilt more towards the dark zone. After 'Sui Dhaaga', YRF To Release Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' and Rani Mukerji's 'Mardaani 2' In China

Mumbai, March 30 - After the super successful distribution in around 100 countries, Yash Raj Films is all set to release its mega-blockbuster Pathaan starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone in China, Japan, and Latin America. ## Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, was released on January 25 this year and went on to cross approx. 1050 crores worldwide, becoming one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time. Now, YRF is planning for its wide release in China, which has emerged as a huge market for Hindi films over the years. ## YRF is releasing its social comedy-drama "Sui Dhaaga – Made In India" (2018) in China on March 31. Mumbai, March 29 - Producer Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films is focussing on the take his ambitious spy universe to next level. After the mega-blockbuster success of Shah Rukh Khan-led "Pathaan" and the previous films in the spy universe, the stocks have increased for Salman Khan's "Tiger 3" which arrives on Diwali this year. ## "Tiger 3" will be just a trailer of what is coming next from YRF in this particular universe. The studio is already working on "War 2" starring Hrithik Roshan which is expected to start rolling out later this year. In 2024, YRF will roll out its biggest movie and possibly the biggest Bollywood title "Tiger vs Pathaan". ## Taking inspiration from "Batman vs. Superman" and "Captain America vs. Iron Man", Tiger vs Pathan will see two giant forces of Indian cinema, Salman Khana and Shah Rukh Khan taking on each other. YRF is yet to announce this mega movie officially but it is already in development with Aditya Chopra himself has developed the story along with Shridhar Raghavan. ## Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, YRF is planning to take "Tiger vs Pathaan" on floors in January 2024, and in all probability, it will be released in 2025 on a grand scale worldwide. Mumbai, March 26 - Ajay Devgn-fronted and directorial action thriller film Bholaa is gearing up for its release and the curiosity among the fans is building up as the release is getting closer. The Hindi adaptation of the Tamil hit "Kaithi" features Tabu in a prominent role.## The censorship formalities of "Bholaa" were completed on March 20 and it has been certified with a "U/A" certificate by CBFC. Ajay Devgn Talks About 'Bholaa' Cinematic Universe

Mumbai, March 25 - Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn's action thriller Bholaa is getting ready for its worldwide release on March 30. The much-awaited movie is the adaptation of the Tamil hit "Kaithi" which was directed by Lokesh Kangaraj and featured Karthi in the lead role. ## "Kaithi" was part of Kangaraj's cinematic universe which also includes Kamal Haasan's "Vikram". Now, with "Bholaa", Ajay Devgn is set to turn this into a franchise that will be completely different from Lokesh's version. ## During a recent interview with Variety, Devgn revealed that Bholaa ends on a note which will give the feel of the second part.
