Salman Khan's Tiger To Be Up Against Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan In The Biggest Film In YRF's Spy Universe

Mumbai, February 16 - Last year, it was revealed that Yash Raj Films planning to bring the two Biggest Bollywood superstars, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in a single film in full-fledged roles. The last time due featured in leading roles together was in "Karan Arjun" (1995), and since then, fans have been waiting for them to do the same again. ## Yash Raj Films is developing its original Spy Universe in which Salman Khan plays the role of Tiger. He was the first to get introduced in the ambitious universe before Hrithik Roshan took charge as Kabir, and finally, Shah Rukh Khan got introduced as Pathaan. Now, according to Pinkvilla, YRF is gearing up to pitch Tiger and Pathaan against each other in its biggest film yet. ## The report has claimed that the basic plot of this epic two-hero crossover film featuring Tiger and Pathaan has been locked. Aditya Chopra himself has developed the story along with Shridhar Raghavan. The movie will see the epic face-off between the two giant superstars of Indian Cinema, much like what happened between Iron Man and Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Batman vs Superman from the DC Universe, report says.## Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, however, have featured in each other's films in cameo roles. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' Ticket Rates Reduced To Celebrate Its Historic Success

Mumbai, February 16 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" is on the historic box office run and racing towards the 1000 crores mark globally. Box Office: Blockbuster 'Pathaan' Hits 500 Crores Net In All Versions

Mumbai, February 15 - Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" is unstoppable and proving to be a one-horse race at the box office. The spy actioner is racing towards the epic box office milestone of 1000 crores worldwide. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" has become the first ever Bollywood movie to hit 500 crores net collection. The movie scored approx. 499 crores net through the 3rd Tuesday in all versions, and at the time of penning this piece, it has breached Rs. 5 billion mark. ## The Hindi version of "Pathaan" has earned approx. 482 crores net through 3rd Tuesday (21 days). It is already the highest-grossing Hindi title and has already scored more than 100 crores than the second-placed "Dangal" which scored approx. 374 crores net in Hindi. ## "Pathaan", meanwhile, is chasing history to become the biggest Hindi grosser ever at the domestic box office. Currently, SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" is the number 1 grosser with 511 crores net. Pathaan Third Friday Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 10 - Pathaan is heading towards another good day at the box office going by the early estimate figures which suggest around 5 crores net mark on its third Friday. The hold once again has given a chance to the film to cross the collections of Bahubali: The Conclusion.## The third Friday collections will take the total tally of Pathaan to around 464cr net box office mark and now the film needs just another 50cr collection to emerge as the highest-grossing film in the Hindi language beating Bahubali: The Conclusion. ## There will be a growth in the collections tomorrow as it is a Saturday when multiplexes see huge walk-ins while single screens will see it's the best day on Sunday. Pathaan Outscores RRR To Become The Second Biggest Indian Grosser In North America

Los Angeles, February 10 - Shah Rukh Khan-fronted blockbuster "Pathaan" has become the second highest-grossing Indian film in North America, which is one of the biggest international movie markets for Indian titles. ## The spy action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, has grossed approx. $14.95 million (123 crores) in 16 days so far at the North American box office. Ajay Devgn's Long-Awaited Sports Biopic 'Maidaan' To Be Postponed Again?

Mumbai, February 10 - It seems there is no easy way to get out of jail for Ajay Devgn-fronted "Maidaan". The long-awaited biographical sports drama film is getting difficulties in its release which has led to multiple delays over the last year or so. The movie was supposed to release in February this year, however, the makers recently announced its postponement to May 12, 2023, release. ## Now, according to the latest reports, the Amit Sharma-directed flick has been pushed again to June this year. Bollywood Hungama reports that "Maidaan" has been shifted to June 23 release, which is still a complex date to bring the film to the big screen. ## June 2023 is already flooded with two tentpole titles, "Jawan" (June 2) and "Adipurush" (June 16). Pathaan Third Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 9 - Pathaan is continuing with its steady run at the box office as the early estimate collections suggest 5.50-6 crores net on its third Thursday which is around a 10-12% drop from yesterday's collections. Even yesterday the film had shown a similar drop.## The third Thursday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 459cr net box office mark as per early estimates. Pathaan has another free week and the first sign of competition will arrive the next week with Shehzada. Overall the job has been done and Pathaan has emerged as one of the biggest box-office hits of the last 15 years. ## The overseas numbers are never seen before as the film is heading for close to the 50 million mark. The previous best were Dangal, Padmaavat, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom3 all of them were in the 28-30 million range. Pathaan Third Wednesday Early Estimates; Crosses 450 Crores Mark

Mumbai, February 8 - Pathaan continues to hold well after a fantastic second weekend where it emerged as one of the biggest second weekends ever. As per the early estimates, the movie scored around 6.50-7 crores net on its third Wednesday. ## The film is showing a drop of around 10-12% daily which is a good sign. The ticket rates of the film are now more to regular levels and hence the collections are looking good only but with the same pricing as on weekends, the collections would have been excellent. The ticket rates should have been kept on the higher side as it would have helped the film to cross the Bahubali2 numbers which are still possible but not easy. ## The third Wednesday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 453Cr net box office mark becoming the only Bollywood film in history to cross this landmark. The movie has already broken several records for a Bollywood as well as an Indian movie at the domestic and overseas box office. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is chasing history as far as the Hindi language collection is concerned. The movie, also starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, has already become the biggest Bollywood grosser domestically, beating "Dangal", and now, it has surpassed mighty "KGF: Chapter 2" to become the second biggest movie in the Hindi language. ## Until the third Wednesday (15 days), "Pathaan" minted 436.75 crores net in the original Hindi version, and has beaten "KGF 2" (435 crores) to become the second biggest Hindi grossrer of all-time. "Pathaan" is now behind SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali The Conclusion" which scored 510 crores net. ## "Pathaan" will get a free run till February 17 when Kartik Aaryan's "Shehzada" and Marvel Studios' "Ant-Man 3" will release. In these 9 days (before Feb. 17), the movie will target, at least, 50-60 crores net which will take its total collection to around 490 crores net before the two aforementioned films arrive. It will be a tough road ahead from there on but "Pathaan" will still have an outside chance to beat "Baahubali 2" which remains to see. ## Meanwhile, the YRF biggie has crossed 450 crores net in all versions with today's collection. Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' Plans A Long Promotion Campaign

Mumbai, February 8 - One of the most-awaited and biggest films of the year, "Gadar 2" starring Sunny Deol is getting ready to release during Independence Day 2023 week in theaters worldwide. Mumbai, February 7 - Pathaan is continuing its winning streak at the box office with superb holds after a fantastic second weekend. As per the early estimates, the movie scored 7.50-8 crores net on its second Tuesday. The film will continue to show similar sorts of drops in the next subsequent days which is a regular for these types of front-loaded biggies. The ticket rates have also come down to regular levels from blockbusters weekend pricing and considering that the hold here is a huge plus. ## The second Tuesday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 446cr net box office mark depending on the actual second Tuesday numbers.
