Box Office: Drishyam 2 First Wednesday Early Estimates
Mumbai, November 23 - Drishyam 2 continues its victory march at the box office with strong collections across all the circuits. Just like yesterday when the film had a negligible drop of around 10% today also the film witnessed a similar sort of drop which is extraordinary as in real terms the business has dropped due to lower average ticket prices. If we compare the number of admits then there is not much difference between the first-day admits and today's admits.## On its first Wednesday, "Drishyam 2" scored an estimated 9.25-9.75 crores net. A double-digit Wednesday cannot rule out too as the way the film has performed over the last few days these type of multiplex films generally does the highest business in night shows and if night shows outperform then 10 cr Wednesday won't be that hard. ## The first Wednesday collections will take the entire box office collections of Drishyam 2 to approx 96.25cr net box office mark depending on the actual Wednesday collections. The first week business of 100cr which looked difficult a few days back will be surpassed easily due to insane holds over the weekdays. The business on weekdays has proved to be better than the first weekend collections as the weekdays business enabled the film to score the 100cr mark in the first week.## Drishyam2 has a shot at a 200cr grosser from here on although next week will see a big release in the form of Bhediya, which won't harm the business of Drishyam2 due to being an established film with universal appreciation. If any film gets affected that will be Bhediya and that is visible in the booking of the film as it's much lower than expected despite a good trailer and hit music.## Stay tuned...
