Shah Rukh Khan's Non-Stop Plans To Work On Atlee And Rajkumar Hirani's Films!

Mumbai, February 3 - The fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been waiting patiently for the last three years to watch their favorite star on the big screen. The actor too was well on track to make a smashing comeback with Sidharth Anand's "Pathan" in early 2022 but the production got delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic and SRK's family issues. ## SRK had resumed the shoot of "Pathan" after the second covid-19 wave but due to the arrest of his son Aryan Khan in a drug case, he canceled all his work commitments for some time and devoted his full time to his family. However, things are finally looking all set and ready to roll. ## The King Khan recently made his comeback on social media and also completed his work commitments for ad shoots. Now according to reports, the superstar has planned to work non-stop for his feature films that are with directors Atlee and Rajkumar Hirani apart from Anand's "Pathan". He also has a cameo role in Salman Khan's "Tiger 3". ## According to Mid-Day, Shah Rukh Khan will resume the shoot of the much-discussed feature with Tamil director Atlee after wrapping up his cameo in "Tiger 3" and some bits of "Pathan" that need to be shot in India. The shoot for Atlee's film was supposed to be resumed in December last week or January but due to the rise in covid-19 cases, Atlee is now expected to resume filming in mid-February. ## Shah Rukh Khan also has a film with director Rajkumar Hirani for which the shoot will begin in March or April this year. It is reported that Atlee's team has been told to finish his project by March before Hirani's film goes on floors. ## Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathan" is expected to release in late 2022. It will be SRK's first film since "Zero" (2018). "Pathan" is a spy actioner that also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles. Mumbai, February 2 - The Bollywood filmmakers continuing to reshuffle the release dates of their film and joining the list is Ayushmann Khurrana's "Anek". The socio-political thriller, which was supposed to release on March 31st, 2022, will now hit screens on May 13 this year. ## Ayushmann reunites with renowned director Anubhav Sinha for this one of its kind films. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha under T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks. Earlier, Ayushmann collaborate with Sinha for "Article 15", which was hailed critically and also did very well at the box office. ## The actor took to Twitter and announced the new release date with an intriguing poster. Mumbai, February 2 - Superstar Salman Khan to begin the shooting of The much-awaited sequel of a blockbuster franchise Tiger3 in New Delhi from February 14 according to reports. Salman and Katrina Kaif will be wrapping the last big outdoor schedule of the film in New Delhi from February 14 as the Omicron wave looks to subside across the country.## Reportedly, Salman and Katrina will mostly be traveling to Delhi on the 12th or 13th morning. YRF has done a commendable job in managing the shooting schedule of such a big film, and that too in the pandemic. Official: Amitabh Bachchan's Jhund To Release On 4th March 2022

Mumbai, February 2 - Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's Jhund directed by Nagraj Manjule was earlier scheduled to be released on the OTT platform. Release Dates of Upcoming Indian Films

Mumbai, February 1 - The Covid19 trajectory is on the downward slope with a few circuits are also lifting the restrictions and all other circuits to follow this sooner than later. Due to the rising covid cases, the films were postponed earlier but now since the cases are falling fast, one can expect many official announcements about release dates. ## Yesterday was a big day for the industry as there were a plethora of official release dates being made and some of them were the most anticipated films. The long in making and hugely awaited RRR was the first one to announce the official date. Earlier the makers of RRR were trying to come either on 18th March or 28th April but now the date has been locked which is - 25th March 2022. ## The next big announcement was about Ajith Kumar's much-awaited action thriller Valimai which will hit the screens on 24th February 2022. The film will be released in multiple languages and the trailer for the same will be out in the next couple of weeks.## The next two major announcements were Megastar Chiranjeevi's and Kortala Siva's Acharya which is coming on 29th April coinciding with Eid 2022 weekend and Mahesh Babu and Parasuram directorial Sarkaru Vaari Paata which is slated to release on 12th May in summer Holidays.## Meanwhile, Prabhas-fronted Radhe Shyam will be released on March 11, while Akshay Kumar's Bachchan Pandey already booked March 18 release date coinciding with Holi 2022. Mumbai, January 31 - Akshay Kumar posted a video on his Twitter handle and informed everyone that the filming of the much-awaited adventure drama Ram Setu has been completed. Akshay Kumar also confirmed that Ram Setu will release on Diwali 2022 making back-to-back Diwali releases for the superstar after "Sooryavansi" in 2021. Even Housefull4 in 2019 was released during Diwali weekend and we don't need to tell how massive successful films those were. Venkat Prabhu Reveals When Will 'Maanaadu' Hindi Remake Go On Floors

Mumbai, January 30 - The South Indian films continue to make waves in Indian cinema. In the last couple of years, regional movies have found their audience beyond boundaries and continue to attract them. One such film is the recently released Tamil blockbuster "Maanaadu", starring Simbu with S.J Suryah and Kalyani Priyadarshan. ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, "Maanaadu" is a science fiction action thriller film that was highly appreciated by the audience and critics alike, with major praises coming in for making the complex concept of time-loop in a simplistic manner. The concept of the film not only attracted the Tamil audiences but also found the attention of Hindi and Telugu filmmakers. ## The Telugu production house, Suresh Productions headed by Suresh Babu recently acquired the remake rights of the film in all languages. Though the studio didn't reveal the amount, some entertainment portals revealed that the remake rights of "Maanaadu" were sold for a whopping sum of Rs. 12 crores.## The remake of "Maanaadu" is currently being planned only in Telugu and Hindi languages. While there is not an official word on when will Telugu remake go on floors, director Venkat Prabhu, who will also be helming the remake version, said in a recent interview with The Federal that "the Hindi remake of Maanaadu will go on the floors by the end of this year, so don't want to miss the opportunity".## The casting for the Hindi version is yet to be finalized, however, according to Pinkvilla, the makers are trying to rope in a young actor to play the titular role played by Simbu in the original. The film also became Ranveer Singh's sixth 100cr plus earner film after Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, Simmba, and Gully Boy. The 90s superstars Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar leads the category of most 100cr earner films with 15 films each however all 15 films of Salman Khan were consecutive ones, unlike Akshay Kumar. Though 100cr business is not a yardstick to gauge the success of the film as some films are bigger in scale and 83 fall in this category, it is an important benchmark in today's world of the box office. Ranveer Singh's '83' Outscore Domestic Hits To Become Highest Overseas Indian Grosser Of 2021

Mumbai, January 29 - Ranveer Singh-fronted sports biopic, "83", which has a dismal show at the domestic box office so far, has received a much deserve appreciation at the international markets. ## The Kabir Khan-directed, which has been declared a box office flop at the Indian box office, becomes the highest-grossing Indian film at the overseas box office of a title released in 2021. It has so far grossed Rs. 63.11 crores outside India.## Akshay Kumar's domestic superhit "Sooryavanshi" is the second highest-grossing Indian film overseas with Rs. 62.2 crores. Interestingly, both "83" and "Sooryavanshi" were released by Reliance Entertainment worldwide. "Sooryavanshi", however, proved to be a major success of the company both at the domestic and overseas box office with Rs. 294 crores worldwide gross. ## "83" has so far grossed approx Rs. 190 crores, and it is largely saved by the overseas performance. Even though it is only the second Bollywood film of 2021 to cross Rs. 100 crores net mark at the domestic box office, one can not deny the fact that it performed way lower than expected. ## Talking about the overseas collection, Rajinikanth's Tamil hit "Annaatthe" is at number 3 with Rs. 47.7 crores, followed by Thalapathy Vijay's domestic Tamil blockbuster "Master" at number 4 with Rs. 45 crores. Akshay Kumar To Headline The Hindi Remake Of Suriya's Tamil Blockbuster 'Soorarai Pottru'

Mumbai, January 29 - Tamil superstar Suriya's biographical drama, "Soorarai Pottru", received wide acknowledgment through its digital premiere in 2020. Later, the movie was announced to be made in Hindi with Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment as producer. ## While it wasn't revealed who will step into the shoes of Suriya for the Hindi, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar along with Shahid Kapoor are the two names that were reportedly discussed to lead the Hindi remake, which will be directed by the original director Sudha Kongara. ## According to reports, it is now Akshay Kumar, who will be headlining this critically hailed subject inspired by events from the life of Simplifly Deccan founder G. R. Gopinath as described in his memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey. The reports say that Akshay Kumar has already given his nod to this film and signed the dotted lines recently. ## The original Tamil "Soorarai Pottru" struck the chord of audiences with its emotional and inspiring quotient. It is said that to maintain that heart-to-heart connection with North Indian audiences, the Hindi screenplay has been written brilliantly that will definitely appeal to the viewers. The Theatrical Run Time Of Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj' Is Lower Than Expected

Mumbai, January 27 - If there were no covid-19 third wave, then another Akshay Kumar's film would have been released in theaters by now. The actor is on a roll when it comes to doing films. After the release of "Atrangi Re" on Disney Plus Hotstar, all eyes are on Akshay's next release "Prithviraj". ## "Prithviraj", which marks the Bollywood debut of former Miss World, Manushi Chhillar, was supposed to release in cinemas on January 21st, but the surge in covid-19 cases forced the makers to postpone the release for one more time. While the new release date is yet to finalize, the makers have reportedly completed the censorship formalities. ## According to reports, the much-anticipated historical action drama has gotten a U/A certificate from CBFC with a run time of 135 minutes (2 hours 15 minutes). It is among the shortest films in Akshay's career. The theatrical run time, however, is definitely is shorter than expected. ## For the comparison, normally films on historical figures do run for nearly 3 hours. Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed "Padmaavat" clocked in for 163 minutes while his "Bajirao Mastani" ran for 158 minutes. The "Bala" actress, however, has the jam-packed year of 2022 with as many as six releases, if all goes per plan. ## To begin with, Bhumi is gearing up for the release of the social dramedy "Badhaai Do". Kartik Aaryan's 'Shehzada' Makers Defend The Actor After Being Accused Of 'Unprofessional Behaviour'

Mumbai, January 25 - After the Hindi theatrical release of the Telugu movie "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" called off, distributor Manish Shah, who holds the Hindi dubbed rights of AVPL, accused Kartik Aaryan of his unprofessional behavior towards the release. Kartik is leading the Hindi remake of AVPL in the form of "Shehzada", and Shah said that he threatened the makers to quit the film if the dubbed film was released in theatres. ## However, a day after Shah's accusations, the makers of "Shehzada" have defended the actor and called him one of the most professional actors. Producer Bhushan Kumar said the Kartik has nothing to do with the AVPL release and said he along with other producers requested Manish Shah to not release the movie as it might affect the Hindi remake which is already in production. ## "We felt that 'Shehzada' should release in theatre first and not the Hindi version of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', hence we requested Goldmines not to release the Hindi version. I have known Kartik since the beginning of his career. We have done multiple films together. He is one of the most professional actors I have worked with", Bhushan Kumar said as reported by TOI. ## Rohit Dhawan, who is directing "Shehzada", added in the defense of "Dhamaka" actor, "Kartik's intent and excitement for 'Shehzada' is unquestionable. It's been a joy working with him. As director and actor, we share a solid bond and nothing can come in the way of our love for the film".## Producer Aman Gill also has nice things to say about Kartik as he called him one of the most dedicated actors in the industry. "Shehzada", which is co-produced by Allu Arvind, who also co-produced the original Telugu version, is currently under production. Manish Shah Accuses Kartik Aaryan Of Unprofessional Behaviour Towards 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' Hindi Release

Mumbai, January 25 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is once again in the spotlight for the negative things as he has again been accused of unprofessional behavior. As we all know, Kartik Aaryan is doing the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in the form of "Shehzada". ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms, who holds the Hindi dubbing rights of AVPL, was supposed to release the film in theaters on January 26, which has now been called off. ## It was reported that "Shehzada" makers had urged Shah to not release the film as it might harm the Hindi remake when it will be released in theaters. While it is true the "Shehzada" makers did urge for the same, Manish Shah has accused Kartik Aaryan of his unprofessional behavior towards the release of AVPL. ## Shah, in a chat with IndiaToday.in, said that Kartik Aaryan threatened "Shehzada" makers to quit the film if AVPL releases in Hindi. "The makers of Shehzda were not keen to release the Hindi version in cinemas. Also, Kartik Aaryan said if the movie was released in theatres, he would walk out of the film, which would have caused Shehzada producers a loss of Rs 40 crores. It was extremely unprofessional of him", told Manish Shah. ## This is not the first time Kartik has been in the controversy. He was also accused of unprofessional behavior towards Dharma Productions' "Dostana 2", which resulted in his omission from the movie. Dharma, in a statement, however, refused to divulge details and said that it would maintain a 'dignified silence' on the matter. It is said that Kartik had already shot some of his portions for the film and his exit cost the makers rs. 20 crores lose. ## Manish Shah, meanwhile, said that calling off the theatrical release of AVPL has cost him rs. 20 crores lose and prevent more losses, he will now release the film on his channel on February 6. He said that he stopped the theatrical release of AVPL only for Allu Arvind, who is co-producing "Shehzada" with Bhushan Kumar and Aman Gill. Allu Arvind had also co-produced the original Telugu movie. ## "Shehzada", which is being directed by Rohit Dhawan, is slated to release in theaters on November 4, 2022. Apart from Kartik Aaryan, who reprises the role of Allu Arjun, the Hindi remake also star Kriti Sanon as the female lead alongside Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar.## Stay tuned...

Prabhas' 'Radhe Shyam' Release Date Depends On SS Rajamouli's 'RRR'!

Mumbai, January 23 - The covid-19 third wave has once again left the Indian film industry with nothing but to reshuffle the release dates of theatrical films. ## Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has booked two slots for the release of "RRR". The mega-budgeted, which was supposed to release on January 7, will now release either on March 18 or April 29, depending upon the covid-19 scenario in the country. It will, however, have to face stiff competition with Bollywood biggies, "Bachchan Pandey" (March 18) and "Runway 34" (April 29) on both occasions. ## Meanwhile, one of the Pan-India tentpole movies postponed from Sankranthi 2022 is Prabhas' romantic drama "Radhe Shyam". It was to release on January 14, and now, according to reports, it will come either Holi or Eid this year. ## According to industry sources (via Bollywood Hungama), the "Radhe Shyam" release date is depending on "RRR". If "RRR" comes on Holi, then Prabhas-starrer will have a grand release on April 29. On the reverse scenario, "Radhe Shyam" will be released on March 18 or March 25. It has more chances of coming on March 25, to avoid a direct clash with "Bachchan Pandey". ## "Radhe Shyam" is directed by Radhe Krishan Kumar and the plot of the film is set in the Europe of the 1970s. It also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Prabhas.
