Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' Trimmed By 20 Minutes Upon Suggestions

Chennai, September 1 - Chiyaan Vikram's phycological action thriller film, Cobra has been trimmed by 20 minutes and will be released with a shorter run time from today evening onwards on all the screens. The film was originally censored with 3 hours 3 minutes run time. ## While the movie opened with mixed positive reviews from critics and audiences, it was criticized for its lengthy run time. Box Office: Thiruchitrambalam Races Past 100 Crores Worldwide To Emerge Biggest Grosser For Dhanush

Chennai, August 30 - Tamil star Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam has performed exceptionally well at the box office, as a result, it has raced past the 100 crores mark worldwide. Directed by Mithran R Jawahar, the romantic comedy-drama film has become the first for Dhanush to achieve this box office milestone. ## "Thiruchitrambalam" scored a fantastic 50.45 crores in the opening week and continues to mint money in the second week as well, taking a total net collection to 65.47 crores after 12 days. The movie has been excellent in the international markets too, grossing approx. 23 crores, for worldwide cum total to approx. 101 crores. ## The film has overtaken Dhanush's Bollywood debut film "Raanjhanaa", which was previously the highest-grossing film of his career with approx. 94 crores worldwide. Hyderabad, August 29 - Versatile Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up for the release of his long-awaited film Cobra, which is scheduled to release on August 31 in Tamil and Telugu. The film marks Vikram's return to the big screen after almost three years and he is looking to make it big by going all out with the promotion. ## The "Cobra" team promoted the film in Hyderabad for the Telugu version. Chennai, August 25 - Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram's last theatrical film was "Kadaram Kondan" in 2019, and since then, he has had only one release in the form of "Mahaan", and it was direct to release via Amazon Prime Video in February this year. ## Chiyaan Vikram is now gearing up for his big screen comeback with the upcoming movie "Cobra", scheduled to release on August 31.
